So in related news, a Pakistani official has announced a $100,000 bounty on the head of the film maker. State sponsored terrorism? Can't wait to see the official (lack of) response on this one...

Obama is probably ready to throw this film-maker to the dogs. The guy is obviously in hiding. But is our government providing protection?

We should compromise. Let Pakistan have Fred Phelps instead.

The US has hundreds of bounties for the death of capture of various state enemies. How is this different?

Why talk about something that doesn't exist, when you can address an issue that is evidently affecting the entirety of the Middle East, and Muslims around the world?

Liberals really don't think iran has a nuclear program? Really?

Not yet, they have no reason to pursue a weapon right now, in fact it would be counter productive to do so. Israel is looking like the horses *** on the worlds stage and that is a million times better than having a nuke. Id wager the fear of a nuke is Irans greatest weapon right now. Heck Israel is even losing support in NATO. Which I can only say it is about time, backing the wrong horse for 60 years hasn't worked out well for us.

And no I am not a liberal, but I will vote liberal in the next election because I don't like the Reformist Harper and his veil of secrecy.

No, no it isn't. Being a nuclear power means total nation state security, and essentially removes all external threats. Or, to quote a movie you haven't seen it means "never having to say your sorry".

I hear they've already been granted asylum by the Washington State government and are currently in a undisclosed location in a Seattle suburb.

Quit showing your dumb.

Iran's status with nuclear technology is not a liberal platform issue. Libs are not of a hive mind in all things.

rdm dosen't speak for me.

I'm of the opinion that Iran does have an active nuclear program - actually I think that much is pretty well confirmed. I have no idea of it's true purpose or how advanced it may be. Much of the publicly available evidence points to a civilian 'for energy' nuclear program.

Then maybe Israel looks back and says "maybe we should have done something about it instead of pussing out and letting NATO solve our problems for us".

Thats my thoughts. We in the west have tried everything else, maybe its time to tell Israel to stop persecuting the Palestinians. Then again if Israel doesn't want Iran to have a nuke...maybe they should get rid of theirs as a sign of good faith.

I think it laughable that the handful of countries that have nukes seem to be the ones going around telling other countries they can't have them. Or in Iran's case, they can't even have energy programs that might eventually enable them to create them.

Yay hypocrisy.
