Admittedly yellow lenses will reduce glare off a screen. In fact I had a pair of yellow-tinted reading glasses that I used to wear when doing much reading on my computer (then i lost them). I paid twenty bucks for them. More than I typically pay for readers but not outlandishly expensive. However, they made no claims about reducing eye strain.
I get a bit skeptical whenever I see 'proprietary' in a product description. I mean any scientist with a lab should be able to figure out what this special lens stuff is and presumably they have a patent - so what's the big deal? They're asking eighty bucks for a pair of glasses that wont even keep the sun out of your eyes.
I'm of the mind that any reported reduction in eye-strain when using these glasses fall firmly under the placebo effect column.
Anyone used these things?
