In your case? Critical thinking skills to name one.

Someone actually showing that the statement about the rarity of pregnancy from forcible rape is actually incorrect.

That's not the argument he made ijiot. Even if someone did the numbers would be skewed as it is estimated a vast majority of rapes go unreported.

Quote:
The FBI estimates that only 37 percent of all rapes are reported to the police. U.S. Justice Department statistics are even lower, with only 26 percent of all rapes or attempted rapes being reported to law enforcement officials

Mr. Akin's shit argument is women can somehow stop a sperm and an egg from joining. Which by the way is demonstrably AND empirically false. If this were the case there would be ZERO pregnancies resulting from rape, which obviously isn't the case.

Your cites and factual studies on the matter don't mean anything because I don't believe them. Meanwhile, I'm going to skirt around every single request to actually provide any factual documentation that supports my view

Yeah, we know you god damn coward. That's why you get no respect on this forum. You're a piece of **** and everybody knows it.

Wouldn't the burden to be on Akin and his supporters to show his comments were correct? I'm a bit disappointed you all let Gbaji play you into accepting the burden of proof.

This is why we can't have nice things.

Took me a while, but I decided in the end gbaji is a white-collar sociopath, and put him on ignore. It's a shame, years ago he seemed more reasonable, and I'm sure he's now part of the reason most intelligent conservatives don't like to argue around here. It's not just that us rabid liberals are so dominant in numbers. I bet people don't want to be thought of as "with gbaji".

When compared to the entire spectrum of what is called "rape", that represents an incredibly small portion. Does it really require a whole lot of brain power to realize that if the total quoted rate of pregnancy for the whole group is X, and that group includes a whole lot of 15 year olds having sex (repeatedly over a period of time btw, which for those following along is why the stats are so skewed) with their adult boyfriends, that the actual rate for forcible rape is going to be significantly lower than that. Same deal with non-forcible date rape, which usually involves multiple instances of sexual intercourse over a period of time.

When you distill that down into a "percentage of women impregnated by their rapists", you're going to end out with a hell of a lot higher percentage when you include those other two groups..

Wait, are you saying that 15 year olds getting sexually assaulted by adults isn't real rape if it happens more than once? And what gives you the idea that date rape involves having intercourse with the same person many times? What the hell is wrong with you?

I believe he's trying to imply that the study is flawed because it (in his mind only) doesn't account for repeat offenses involving the same woman because obviously the pregnancy rate will be higher if the respondants had sex multiple times, vs just the one time they were "raped".

It's standard Gbajiesque for saying "I don't belive your peer reviewed, journal published study, so I'm going to invent arbitrary constraints and assume that they didn't follow them so that I can debunk your facts with my baseless and uneducated opinion."

This, of course, only ever works in that tiny little empty cavity that sits atop Gbaji's neck.

You just say that because you're jealous of their matching Cool Whip salad bowls.
