The FBI estimates that only 37 percent of all rapes are reported to the police. U.S. Justice Department statistics are even lower, with only 26 percent of all rapes or attempted rapes being reported to law enforcement officials
Mr. Akin's shit argument is women can somehow stop a sperm and an egg from joining. Which by the way is demonstrably AND empirically false. If this were the case there would be ZERO pregnancies resulting from rape, which obviously isn't the case.
