For the Great Lakes International Airshow being close enough to my house to attend.

http://greatlakesinternationalairshow.ca/AircraftandAttractions.aspx

Looks like some pretty sick attractions. I went 2 years ago and it was a blast.

Is this the kind of airshow where one of the jets plows into the stands, killing dozens in a spectacular fireball while the pilot safely chutes away?

Airplanes!!!!!!

Those two german WW-I - IIish era planes in particular are extremely rare. I've never seen either of them in person.

Did the link change it's pictures since you posted that? I don't see any such planes.Smiley: confused

EDIT: Unless you mean the Bucker Bu 131, a 1930's era trainer similar to our own BT-13. Similar but with an extra wing, of course.Smiley: grin
Or maybe more like the Boeing-Stearman Model 75. I'll look up the stats and chars and get back to this thread.

'NOTHER EDIT: Huh. The BU 131 had half the hp of the Boeing-Stearman Model 75 so, the BT comparison was terrible on my part.

Yes, I'm bored at work.Smiley: mad
