Sounds about right, but Romney made his millions ******** hard-working American's out of their jobs. I'll take the president who preys on the stupid, thanks.

The amount of people who don't understand how equity firms like Bain operate staggers me.

Some people retaining jobs is better than nobody retaining jobs.

The problem is that the only people retaining jobs are the ones that could have easily found a job elsewhere, because they had the resources to move and the education and skills to change careers if necessary.

The ones that lost their jobs lack the money, the education, or the skills to just pick up and move to a better labor market, especially when the housing market crashed and many of them were unable to sell their homes. Structural unemployment is tough to fix.

Which is why we should blame capital equity firms!

Clearly they secretly caused the firms that they acquired to fail and hemorrhage money just so they could get the satisfaction of sticking it to the little guy.

The next morning Joane's friendsfound her in her bathtub, dead.

Clearly she committed suicide because she was a grown woman participating in sleepovers with her friends.

That depends on if we're talking popcorn and scary movies or chocolate syrup and pillow fights.

At some point in maturity you stop referring to it as "sleepover". Like that scene in Diary of a Whimpy Kid where the fat one calls out saying "Hey, you wanna come over and play!" instead of "hanging out".

Though, "sleeping over" with friends doesn't seem like an acceptable adult thing unless they are friends you are currently sleeping with.

Not with Obamacare I don't. Once it goes into effect, all dogs will be euthanized to be made into meat to feed people in Africa who are just too lazy to get a job at McDonalds.

Personally, I took it as a polite way of saying that she was at an orgy. Possibly of the lesbian variety.

edit: I'm also slightly curious as to whether Tzao happens to be the originator, or if he's one of those incredibly gullible people who actually believes chain letters. Smiley: laugh

I agree. Romney does suck. He frightens me, and he sucks. But he hasn't demonstrated that he sucks as President. Obama has. I just don't see why someone would vote for someone who has PROVEN to suck in a position, vs. someone who we only have a high suspician will suck

Because while with Romney, there's only the "high suspicion" and high probability that he'll suck, there's the fact that the level of suck being risked, is far, far greater than the extent to which Obama sucks. Romney has the potential to be one of the worst presidents since the 19th century.

I can't recall the last time I said "suck" that many times in a sentence..

Dunno. Warren G. Harding set the bar pretty high.

No, trolling is coming onto a forum where you can't even remember the password of your old account and stirring the hornet's nest for the lulz.

For that, you get a gold star.

Prediction: Obama wins the popular vote, barely wins the delegates needed but does so, Dems barely hold the senate (Really don't know whats going to happen w/Brown vs Warren here in MA, but Warren can beat him), Republicans lose some seats in the house as a few tea party candidates scare enough people into voting against them, & over the next 4 years not a whole lot changes.

Maybe DOMA gets repealed/loses in the Supreme Court & Obama does something about the Drug War, but we definitely continue the trend of killing more & more "bad guys" via remote control.

If Obama wins, I predict it'll be a comfortable win. Not a blow-out like last time and he'll lose surprise flips from 2008 like N. Carolina and Indiana but if he's carrying one of the Midwest swings, it's because he's carrying most/all of them and same with the western swing states.

And a thread title with a slightly more neutral tone might help.
