I installed a $25 CPU cooler in my case yesterday and dropped my gaming temps from 72C to 52C. Despite being easy to install, it still made me feel like a boss. Kind of like when I switch out an old two prong outlet for a new three prong model.

"Look at that three prong plug go in there. Oh, hell yeah... I made that happen..."

I rewired a lamp last week. I even put made an underwriters knot to keep my wires stress-free. I followed a you-tube video. It was pretty impressive.

You need to fix your wife now. She's not played Ocarina of Time.

Last week I plugged my side-panel fan back in. It's been there for years, but for the longest time it vibrated horribly and made the case sound like a turbine engine. Also has a built-in blue light for that uber gamer effect.

I haven't played OoT because I haven't owned a game console in years and years.

I never own a console game system, so no OoT of other Zelda game here. I did make costumes of grand kids base on OoT and another Legend of Zelda game.

Today I got to see the Blue Angels fly by our house several times during the Star Spangle Banner Events down at Ft. McHenry. I plan to make it down to see the ships in town for the week long event, though Jonwin said the lines to go on board them are very long. Once done posting I'm going to sew the last 2 buttons on his Navy Jumper so he'll be able to wear it to work tomorrow..

I put several items of jewelry in art show at Balticon46 and sold 4 of them. Between money I made on sales and research study on stretch marks, I'm going to take part in for $80, I've cover most of the cost of more jewelry supplies.

That reminds me, I got more parts for my new computer water cooling setup. Progress has been slow due to the house refinance project and minor car repairs eating my entire parts budget at this point, but the cooling loops are almost done!

Well, the monitor section is similar, but my case components will be in the best case ever made ever. An ATCS 840! (http://www.legitreviews.com/article/859/2/) Mine may very well be the last one ever sold new on the planet too unfortunatly.

Similar in scope to that table, perhaps less visually dramatic, but I like to be able to get to my computer parts without hiring a glass cutter. I'll post some pictures of it once it stops looking like a pile of parts sitting near a case. Just waiting on funds for the motherboard, processor, quick disconnect fittings for the water lines internally and a decent price on the CPU block. I thought I had a CPU block, but it turned into one of those "we sold something we don't actually have and now we want to charge you more" nightmares. Got the two waterblocks for the two 580 GTX 3GB video cards already though, and I just picked up the reservoir today. I'll drive the whole thing off a Koolance RPC-1200, dual radiators (one 120mm in the rear, one triple 120mm on the top being driven by the pair of 230mm fans (it lines up perfectly), should give me roughly at least 1300 watts worth of heat dissipation and room to add additional radiators if I ever had the need.

I'm going to see if I can pick up some of those new Noctua noise cancelling fans they showed at E3 too. Between that, the noisemat, and the 230mm fans, the whole thing should be quieter than your average laptop when i'm done. It may not have as much neon as some cases, but it fits my style better.

I heard that Zynga, fb's game company took a big hit on it's stock this week. The speculation is that fb games are a passing fad. Are they?

I never considered anything Zynga published to be a "game" in the first place. FB apps in general are completely useless by nature.

They're craftily marketed as an excuse for welfare mothers to neglect and/or beat their children.

It used to actually! I had a heat exchanger plate running off the loop into the aquarium sump for a while back in my appartment days when the tank was right next to the computers. Now they are too far away to make that really effective. But it worked pretty dang well actually

That's my ladyfriend's alarm sound on her phone; I want to destroy it every time. I did see a picture of a cosplay Navi recently where people are running away in frustrated STFU-ish terror (which seems appropriate).

Lessee... Rebuilding my band's studio so manual labour time. Clocked myself in the face with a 40 pound speaker yesterday and still have a headache swollen eye.

I quit smoking (again).

Underwent back treatment for two severely herniated discs; worked pretty well (which is good since I'm trying to avoid surgical option).

Other than that, just the normal, domestic stuff. My apartment now has central AC which, being in Houston, is *****************
