In the second issue of DC Comics Earth 2 series, Alan Scott, aka the green lantern, discovers he's gay. It has no impact on his superpowers.

STORY

The article also mentions that the denizens of Riverdale High have warmly embraced a **** student.

What does it all mean?!

It means that DC comics are a social issue behind Marvel Comics.

Oh, and just to put something into this thread, apparently some moms are shocked and dismayed that a medium that regularly features heavily muscled men in tight spandex is moving forward with the homogenda.

I heard that some prominent Marvel figure would be coming out. I had hoped it would be Tony Stark or Steve Rogers, to bring that ship one step closer to being canon.

The man was married to Scarlett Johannson, and willingly divorced her. Repressed homosexuality is the only possible explanation for that.

Edit: although Blake Lively is pretty foxy, too.

There's more to marriage than having a hot wife, you know. Smiley: tongue There are many, many reasons celebrity marriages don't end up working out.

Seriously though, it would make me very sad if Ryan Reynolds was gay. Not that I have a chance in **** with him, but it's fun to fantasize about.

Yeah, the explanation is so going to make sense, too. Deadpool, in one of his moods decides he wants to be a good guy instead of a bad guy. So to do that, he decides he'll join the X-Men. Shennanigans ensues. You have to keep in mind, that while Deadpool might be **** insane, two or three books later what he does suddenly makes sense, in a completely **** insane sort of way. He ends up going to longest way possible to a perfect conclusion. In this instance, he's cooking pancakes and then there's no mention of it for like two books. Then, he's on patrol with Domino, who is apparently deathly afraid of chickens. Lo and behold, Deadpool just so happens to go through an area that has a chicken, which freaks Domino out and she slips and falls safely into the pancakes. Which gets his tail out of his way so he can do what he originally planned to do.

Unfortunately, Deadpool over-saturation over the last couple years has pretty much lead me to give up on his books. The original Loeb-McGuiness run is fantastic, though.

I kind of agree. A couple of the Deadpool Teamups books, Cable & Deadpool, and Simone-Udon's run on the solo book were all pretty good too, and the current Uncanny X-Force is a good Deadpool book. His current run is a lot of miss with a couple of hits, mostly ones where there is a guest of some sort to annoy. Overall I'm still a fan, but I could have done without that year where he was in more books than even Wolverine.

And I could never stand Wolverine. Never. Not a single **** redeemable quality to sniktbub.

I could also do with more Taskmaster. I liked him a lot during the Simone-Udon run, and when it relaunched as Agent X I kind of figured Taskmaster would have gotten a much bigger push. His solo mini was good, but had a really sad ending.

For sure, he's obviously using the marriage and children he spawned as a cover.
