It's weird to me that bath salts are being compared to LSD instead of PCP. I never heard of acid making anyone violent.

This is what makes pot so safe. No stoner ever had the energy to crack another person's skull open.

You've never heard of anyone having a bad trip?

You've never taken acid. You will not eat someone's face on it, I can pretty much guarantee the fear won't let you. Same with mushrooms & probably not with mescaline either.

I've tripped a couple of times. Neither of them were a bad trip thankfully. I see what you're saying. Bad trips usually lead to paranoia which would kind of keep the person from lashing out. I guess it would be hard to imagine a trp where somebody suddenly had the urge to attack someone and eat a part of their body. Unless, of course, they were mixing other drugs in with the acid.

Severe case of the munchies.

And a mild case of being undead.

And another one to add to the mounting evidence of zombie apocalypse. He was found in Germany reading the stories about himself in an internet cafe.

Well, they are 'research chemicals'. So if you ever want to go red dragon on someone, ask a chemist.

A prank in poor taste, or racist humor? I don't want to be that guy, but you notice that every shot of that video involved him harassing a group of black people. Sure there may have been one or two white people that just happened to be around, but it was mostly black people.

Craziness in FL aside, wouldn't you kind of want to kill your husband for wanting to move back to the continental states so damn fast after moving away from them?!?

Yeaaah. Every time he mentions a paper or a magazine he wants to work for, I sort of glare at him and tell him, "What, do you think I'm just going to move all over the world so YOU can work the jobs YOU want to work?" He declares that it's not like that at all and says he'll move where ever I want to move if I find a job. I don't really have an answer for that one, so we both just drop it.

It's not a specific job opening he wants to apply for, just a particular company he'd like to work for. But at first, I did yell at him for moving me out to the middle of the Pacific just to move back again in six months. Smiley: lol

If you can't tell, I don't do especially well with change...

I don't know what it is about zombies, but to me they are the scariest of horror film creatures. It's not the movies themselves that scare me so much, I think, but the "what if this really happened" idea. I am an adult, and I know that zombies are not real... but sometimes, when it's pitch black out here and I'm alone.... Sometimes it doesn't seem so far fetched. Of course, then my husband gets home, or the sun comes out, and I laugh at myself.

Then something like this happens.

The article wrote:
One man was shot to death by Miami police, and another man is fighting for his life after he was attacked and his face allegedly half eaten, by a naked man on the MacArthur Causeway off ramp, police said.

The bloodshed began about 2 p.m. when a series of gunshots were heard on the ramp, which is along NE 13th Street, just south of The Miami Herald building. Witnesses said a woman saw the two men fighting and flagged down a police officer who was in the area.

The officer, who has not been identified, approached and saw that the naked man was actually chewing the other man’s head, according to witnesses. The officer ordered the naked man to back away, and when he continued the assault, the officer shot him. The attacker continued to eat the man, despite being shot, forcing the officer to continue firing. Witnesses said they heard at least a half dozen shots.

We're doomed....

Or this guy was really really really high. (An update on Huffington Post suggests it was a cocaine psychosis.)
My local paper is reporting that the strongest drug found in this guy was marijuana. Maybe he was a true zombie. Smiley: eek

Well, yeah. It takes weeks to run a toxicology screen, and add in the first guy was "shot dead" means they had to do an autopsy as well, so it was pretty obvious ******** right out the gate when they said it was bath salts a few hours after the incident.

I saw that yesterday too. How long til the anti-pot heads start crowing about the negative "zombie" like effects of THC as a reason not to legalize it?

You should be eating the ribs.

Because it's the obvious joke to be made.
