Aethiens weekend sounds a lot like my weekend, but I don't have canals to bike along :(
Canals suck to bike along, gimme a forest or something to bike through, much more fun.

We used to bike through the Barataria portion of the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve when I was a kid. We stopped doing that when we had a run in on a major public road with a 6 ft alligator that chased us about half a mile before giving up.

Opening night for Grease is tonight! Smiley: eek I haven't been on stage for over 7 years, so I'm a bit nervous, but also very excited. Other than that, doing reading for my incomplete so I can get caught back up, and some Diablo/Dragon Age 2.

Don't think my friends are biking this weekend, so I'll probably just hit up the bike path after work tomorrow. Dogsitting for my uncle this weekend, and I don't have a laptop so no SWTOR or D3, unless I feel like installing on his computer. I'm pretty sure I can make it a couple days without, though.

I've got to turn the garden over still. Just about time to get those tomato plants in so I shoudl probably get on that.

Also need to make his shield, paint wooden sword from Ren Faire to look like his and get the princess belt, crown and collar made. by next Thursday. Her dress is done but for 2 snaps and the hem. Next weekend is Balticon 46 and grand kids love to appear in the Masquerade Grand mother wants to send them to sewing lessons, so they can make there own costumes.

Downloading Diablo on my other machine as I type this. I don't know how much playing time I'll get in, still have some homework due by Sunday night. Java programming is kicking my ***. I'm also packing, I close on my condo on the 8th and still haven't found a house I like yet. The market has really been picking up here, the good ones go fast. So I'll be moving my crap into a storage unit, and in about 2 weeks I'll be sleeping at a friends till I find a place.

Today I got my new car, did a few jobs, went to Albany for my after-hours work with the family in tow. They sat in a nearby park eating dinner and feeding the pigeons.

Tomorrow I go to the dump and back to Albany for the last day of the after-hours project. This weekend is supposed to be absolutely beautiful so we'll probably spend a lot of time at the playground.

Stupid engine 5 overpressure! I never liked engine 5 anyyways! Here's hopeing it will be an easy fix. The "unexpected high pressure detected" in the type of engine they are using would indicate to me that either a valve unexpectedly suffered mechanical failure, or their turbine started to shed parts and ended up blocking holes. The latter would be very, very bad, as it might indicate a fatal flaw in their reusability plan.

Worked Friday& Saturday nights, but got to meet a young DJ by the name of Madeon, an old DJ by the name of Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim- He's a very nice guy), a singer-songwriter named James Morrison, Guy Fieri (Honestly, kind of a Diva), & got flashed while working the door of the hotel not once, but twice.

It was actually an uneventful Saturday, as opposed to last weekend when a guest locked herself out of her room naked & decided pulling the fire alarm was the appropriate response to doing so (It's not).

Sunday morning, Dim Sum with the Folks & Fiance and Rancid at the House of Blues Sunday night. Also off Monday-Tuesday, will probably be spent playing Diablo III.

Next four days will be rush to get the accessories for both costumes done and decide what jewelry I will put in the art show.
