Going to fiancee's horse show to lend moral support/show off the dog. Maybe see Avengers on Sunday, but no biggie if that doesn't happen.

Lots of NBA playoffs. Lots of E3 prep. Probably further discussion about the wedding (it looks to be happening in Hawaii, just after Thanksgiving).

Biking! I haven't gotten out to do a proper bike yet this year, so I'm hoping to do 100K or so.

I'm going to go spend some money on flower planty things to fill in some spots in the flower bed where things were, but don't presently exist. That and lots of weeding. If the SpaceX launch doesn't get moved again I might watch that to see if a spaceX goes "clang" when it gets near the ISS.

We prepare to immanentize the eschaton for the coming of the spawn who shall not be named. Thusfar, this involves me cleaning both vehicles and installing car seats. Sunday, I'll likely build an armed defensive robot designed to cleverly fend off the inevitable attempts of Hannah to slay her tiny rival.

To make a long story short, I don't take any responsibility for anything I post here. It's not news, it's not truth, it's not serious. It's parody. It's satire. It's bitter. It's angsty. Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

Work this morning, then flurry of packing, then going to the airport, then the 18 hour Long Ride over to Japan for a week.

Smash, that was the best post I've ever read.

Birthday party for my 5th cousin 12 times removed tomorrow. Ok, she's not really that distant, but she's distant enough that I don't know our actual relationship. She's my mom's 2nd cousin's daughter, so whatever that makes us. No plans on Sunday. As much Star Wars as I can squeeze in when I'm not chasing the 3 yr old on the tricycle around the condo complex.

Vacation! Visiting a couple of old friends who are ex-pats with cushy jobs.

We even bought JR Rail passes so we're going to be spending a lot of time on bullet trains.

Very cool. I bet that'd be a nice way to see the country, having friends there who can show you around, help you communicate, etc.

The latter. I just told him that they won't let us bring the baby home without a car seat installed. Also, that I'll kill him if he has to go do it while I'm in the hospital...so guess what he's doing today!?

Pfftt... they don't actually check that and it's been proven that your newborn infant is safer in the glove box. That's why God made them that size.

My #1 goal is to make the carpet less crunchy when I walk on it. We have brown carpet, and cheerios are the #1 snack food around the house. Not the best combination in retrospect. Smiley: oyvey

If you'd had white/beige carpet, you'd have seen all the stains and mess though, so you bought yourself some time. Smiley: schooled. Speaking as someone who's basically given up on the current carpets (time for hardwood anyway). Light colors look great, until they don't anymore.

This weekend is birthday dinner for a friend of mine on Saturday, followed by the usual drinks and debauchery. Should be lots of fun. I mean, what could go wrong with eating and drinking, right?

Sunday, we return from a brief Mothers day hiatus to resume our Sunday RPG. We'll be assaulting some local vampire guy named Lord Argar/ire/er/whatever. We're unfortunately not taking him seriously because his name sounded too much like Argyle, which made us think of knitting. Which led us to speculating about what sorts of things he knits. I came up with "fang cozies", and now he's "Lord Fang Cozy", which just doesn't sound terribly scary. We imagine he's sitting in his manor home, sipping a nice cup of blood, wearing a house coat, comfy socks, and a cap (perhaps with earmuffs?), and protecting his antique furniture with nice doilies or something. Yeah. Just not too intimidating.
