It's been online for more than a week (movies2k.to had it, anyways), but it really is a theater movie. The 3D isn't "OMG!" like Avatar or even Transformers 3 & as I said in the movies forum, the Spider-Man preview in 3D was way more impressive than anything in Avengers.
That being said, it's great & you should see it so Marvel can use the money they're making off it to make more good movies. That & Disney needs to make back the money it lost on John Carter, heh.
