I remember listening to that album when it first came out. It really opened my teenage eyes about exploring different styles of music, as I was not a fan of rap before that.

Beastie Boys were just recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and I know he was unable to attend the ceremony due to his illness.

Apparently the Mets paid tribute to MCA the other night by having all of their walk-up music be Beastie Boys songs.
I wonder if they're going to replace him and keep making music.
