Not that the OP is really directed at me (as a non-MMORPGer), but Skyrim still has its claws in me. Messed around with the Dragon's Dogma demo the other day, and found it to be fun, though a bit unwieldy.

Probably gonna finally pick up CoD:MW3 soon. Waiting patiently for Starhawk's release, too.

I dropped EQ2 for a little while. Nothing wrong with the game, just a little burnt out. Playing Rift again now. End game doesn't suck so bad anymore, so I'm actually having fun. And I thought GW2 is mostly PvP?

I've been playing: Shogun, Sengoku Rance, Mount&Blade, and League of Legends. I could use an rpg-type game in the lineup.

I'm pretty lukewarm on Diablo 3, which is unfortunate, I'm usually a big fan of Blizzard games.

Rift is a cool game but I guess the story didn't really grab me as much as the mechanics did (the rift events) but even they got to be same old, same old for me. SWTOR is a fantastic game and I'm sure I'll get back into it again at some point but I'm burned out on it for now. Skyrim does indeed rock but being the social creature I am, I prefer MMOs. Also a huge fan of Dragon Age: Origins and DA2.

GW2 has a PvP element as did the original game but unlike the original game, it's not instance-crazy and very much more open world exploration, dungeons, etc. Things are more organic and it's more about cooperative play than people lining up to take turns at a mob or having to even group. It's explains a lot about it. Remember Dark Ages of Camelot with it's Realm vs. Realm pvp? GW2 has World vs. World vs. World (server vs server vs server) and it looks amazing but if you aren't into PvP, there is an unbelievable amount of stuff to keep you entertained on the PvE side (which is my usual preference, too).

Free to play, with some restrictions.
I started playing EQ2 with a couple people from the Zam site. I'm having fun.

I've been playing EQ again since it went free to play(even with the restrictions, it was still very fun, I ended up paying for it anyway). As well as finishing some old games I never beat. Just finished beating all the Ace Combat games and am just about done beating Legend Of Dragoon.

The Witcher 2 & Mass Effect 3 multiplayer at the moment.

How are you liking The Witcher 2, Omega? I've been thinking of checking it out.

Skyrim's the only game I've played in the past 4 months, but I haven't been gaming that much in general and I'm starting a new job next week that will probably have me working fairly long hours. I'm excited about Assassin's Creed III this fall after seeing a demo of it at PAX East (I hope they do as realistic a recreation of colonial-era Boston like they did for Florence, Venice, etc. in ACII), but I need to catch up a bit first and play Brotherhood and Revelations.

I'm playing TOR as my main MMO. It actually doesn't feel like WoW at all to me, because of how dynamic the leveling process is. Granted, I'm not involved in endgame at all yet. I just feel like I'm playing a BioWare game. I mean, DA:O was so similar to MMO-style gameplay to begin with, where systems are concerned.

I'm playing League of Legends every so often. It's fun, but not enough to make me a frequent player. One or two matches a week--I'm primarily just learning how to play Garen.

Last common multiplayer game is Mass Effect 3.

On the single player front I have ME3, Dragon Age: Origins (plus Awakening and the DLC, then DA2 when I finish that), and I plan to do a theme build in Skyrim soon. I'll go back to Kingdoms of Amalur once I have finished with some of the other games. Fortunately, there aren't any releases I care about coming up anytime soon, iirc.

Quit mid-match too many times and they won't let you back in, and I believe you'll accrue lesser penalties until that point. LoL matches are usually about 20 minutes. Your teams are freakishly well balanced against each other if a non-ranked match lasts much longer than that.

Ranked matches are a different story, but if you are doing them then you are probably not the type looking to fit in a quick little game.

The monk is awesome fun in D3 - definitely playing one as well as the Barbarian (also great fun). I'm in the MoP beta, too, but have hardly been in it - it was fun making a dwarf monk but the monk trainers weren't (still aren't?) in it at the time. The Pandarens are pretty cool but I'm pretty much done on WoW - tried to get into Cata but didn't last. GW2 is (and I hate to sound pretentious here) really is the next generation of Fantasy MMOs...even though they don't have dwarves...grrr.

I'll definitely post my impressions of it once I actually get in-game tomorrow for the beta weekend.

So much is broken, of course it's beta but unlike any other beta that I have gotten to test, there are no forms to fill out, and the "submit bug" button is blocked from use. I started a Human Monk and realized that none of the quests worked, so I abandoned her. I copied over my holy pally (because my alt account vs my AP account got the invite) and found healing wasn't too hard. Although for some reason in cata we are capped at 100k mana.

I'm gonna have to try Barbarian. I was really loving the d3 monk, she made quick work of the boss.

GW2 I keep hearing raves about. I'm curious enough to probably try it (also free play makes me happy) TOR was ok, it had great story lines and I enjoyed the pvp but it just wasn't enough for me. RIft, I liked the pvp and the word events (when the world was a bit more populated) but again, it just wasn't enough. Cata at first was horrible, playing a healer was painful. Around Firelands, it started feeling better for raiding, although I wish they hadn't dropped the Abyssal Maw raid idea.

Sorta like CoT adventures? Neat.
