My boss taking a vacation day tomorrow, along with nearly everybody else in the office, which means that I get to work from home (read: play OGame all day) tomorrow. On Saturday, I'm headed up to Wrigley Field for opening weekend by virtue of my brother-in-law working for the Cubs, and getting access to free tickets.

Sunday is for hangovers and Game of Thrones.

It'll be a good weekend if the Jays get swept.

I've got tomorrow off... but I also get every Friday off for the next two months!

(Sounds great, but really I'm just taking my vacation days before I lose them all. 5/31 is the last day to use up my vacation days before I lose them. So I took every Friday til the end of May, and then the whole week of memorial day).

I'm not off tomorrow, so fuck y'all. Though there's always the chance that our secretary will lobby the principals to let us out early (she usually gets her way).

No cool plans for the weekend. I'm thinking that I'll spend it trying to drink a lot and be productive, and hopefully have the two meet somewhere in the middle.

The drinking will probably win, but s'all good.

Jonwin and my weekend started this morning when we went up to Philadelphia Museum of Art to see the Van Gogh: Up Close exhibit, with my daughter and a friend. IF you can get to Philly before the exhibit closes in May, I highly recommend going. Van Gogh's brush stokes and use of color is wonderful and there are a few paintings in the show that you normally would have to go to Holland to see.

Tomorrow I'm going to rest and hope to recover before I flare. Jonwin will finally do his state taxes on my computer since I never took the time to connect his to the printer.

Saturday rest some more.

Sunday Jonwin goes back to work on the ship, while I go to his mom's for Easter Dinner. That is if I can walk at all, my legs right now feel like I'm going to want to use the wheelchair if I have to leave the house.

I get to build my first Dell Management Console server tomorrow. We mainly use the HP ones. should be interesting to set up. After that, yard work and easter stuff on sunday is the main plan. I did get my water block for the 580 GTX finally though, so I may install that if I get a chance.

I don't think I get any days off for this. I'll find out tomorrow during the conference call. If it's still on.

In other news, I got a cold today (as did the boys) and I ended up in the E.R. with bronchitis. They thought I was seventeen and put me in a Pediatric Care room.

I'm growing my goatee back.

I'm not off tomorrow or Sunday for that matter (I do have Saturday off at the moment), but I have had the past week or so off since it was my birthday and it's been completely dead at work. However, we do Sunday brunch and being Chief Executive Sunday Brunchineer I get to kick some *** for what looks like it's gonna be the busiest shift in a month.

I'm sorry you're sick, but I would have taken the paediatric care room. They tend to have more ice cream and jelly, they're more colourful, and they present the bill to your parents. Smiley: grin

We're doing Easter dinner with the extended family on Saturday to accommodate dueling in-laws . Sunday we're planning on going out for brunch, but we have no reservations anywhere.

Easter dinner on Sunday at my sister's. To cover my bases, I'll also be smearing lamb's blood on the lintels this weekend to ward off any errant angels of death from my first born.

Passover is on the 7th (or the night of the 6th depending on how Jewish your clock is) but I'll happily admit to playing fast and loose with my chronology to make a humorous quip.

Car shopping: BMW for Ray and Mercedes for me most likely.
Yardwork
Housework
Laundry
Easter

I need to start planning Charmaine's laser tag birthday party. I wish we could do paintball, but that's such a liability.

Oh ok. I'm not sure why I was thinking Passover was a week before Easter.
