Should focus more on the following of the kid, you know doing exactly what the police operator specifically asked him not to do.

Funny how often people repeat things that are simply not true. Not only did the police operator not tell him not to follow Trayvon (he said "you don't have to do that"), he also has absolutely zero authority to tell him not to anyway. But by all means, continue to base your position on provably false claims.

Quote:
Pretty strong chance that if he had let the police do their job and come out and confront martin, he would be alive today.

And? There's a strong chance that had Martin not decided to straddle Zimmerman and beat him mercilessly, he would be alive today.

One of these has a much more direct causal relationship to his death than the other. One of them is an illegal act. One of them justifies self defense. Can you figure out which?

Quote:
Instead Zimmerman shadowed him and eventually got himself into a confrontation. Sounds to me like self defence is out the window, considering the fact Zimmerman had numerous chances to completely avoid a confrontation, yet chose to pursue the matter himself.

Martin had numerous chances to avoid a confrontation as well. The differences is that (assuming Zimmerman's account is correct), Zimmerman's choices weren't illegal and didn't justify self defense on the other person's part. Martin's did. From a legal standpoint, nothing Zimmerman did justified an assault by Martin, but what Martin did justified the shot that Zimmerman fired.

Quote:
Also if I was trying to get away with murder, Id likely happily give myself a bloody nose too, this is complete conjecture and im not saying it went down like that, but its what I would do if it would keep me out of *** rape town.

Please tell me you're kidding. You do realize that three different eye witnesses all saw Martin on top of Zimmerman hitting him, right? It's like the minds just close in cases like this. Shocking. Really really shocking. You guys are so afraid of being wrong that you'd rather spin ever more absurd and unlikely theories about what might of happened rather than looking at the very most likely explanation: That Zimmerman's account is correct.

What's shocking is that a teenager is dead and the man that killed him has not been arrested and therefore will not stand trial. Until that happens everything I may believe and everything you may believe and everything we read in our liberal or conservative pieces of media is speculation.

It's all a lie. There are no free pills. OK, that's not quite true either. If it's a prescription, you pay for it. If you go into the emergency room, its free, as well as when you're on the operating table.

I'd give up my First for that jar...a Vic and a shot of whiskey and I can barely speak anyways.

But I'm not wrong. I've already in this thread provided sources showing three different witnesses, one described as "a woman", another a 13 year old walking his dog, and the third a man in a nearby house who opened his door, then closed it, called 911 and ran upstairs to look out the window after the shot was fired. The first two did not see the person on the ground, but both described someone with a white top on top of someone else beating him, while the person on the ground was screaming for help. The third directly identifies Zimmerman as the person in a red top on the bottom being beaten, and then later (through the window) as the person standing after the shot was fired.

That is three witnesses, as far as I can tell, the *only* three actual eye-witnesses to any portion of the fight, and every single one of them confirms Zimmerman's story.

What's shocking is that a 6foot+ teen brutally assaults a man, who is only able to defend himself because he has a firearm and shoots the teen, but because so many people heard only one incredibly biased version of events and formed strong opinions about it before the facts came out, they refuse to accept the truth of the matter. Worse, they are so scared that they might have to face the fact that they were manipulated into totally misjudging the situation that they would rather a gross miscarriage of justice occur than the truth come out proving they were wrong. So they scream louder and louder for "justice" in the hopes that so many people saying the same false things will outweigh the truth and they wont have to face reality.

And that's pretty darn sad. Trayvon Martin's life has been ended. That's a bad thing. But now we're going to ignore the law and end someone else's out of spite? Seems like a bad thing to do. This is not about justice. This is about raising so much hype and anger over this issue that justice can't be done. Why do you think the Martin family and/or their lawyer have been doing nothing but making public statements and public appearances this whole time? Is this what you do in the cause of justice? Is justice supposed to be handed out by an angry mob?

I don't think so. And if you're honest with yourself, neither do you.

I have formed my preliminary ideas about the case wholly and completely on the only direct evidence I have: the recording of Zimmerman's call to the police.

Zimmerman damns himself thoroughly during the length of the call, without realising it, he is so wrapped up in paranoia about burglars.

Australians pay 10% of the cost of a prescribed medication, capped at $30. If you earn less than $20k per year, your medications are capped at $3.

Including birth control pills, of course.

You believe what you want to believe gbaji. The facts are simple. An unarmed teenager was shot. The man who fired the gun is free to spread whatever story about the account he wants. The only other person there is dead.

At any other time or place Zimmerman would be arrested for killing a person. If he was innocent by self-defense his trial would find that out.
