Actually, looking @ the date of the confirmation email, this was most likely a filthy sock I stood up to troll nephtys or varrus with and then forgot about/lost interest in. I hope I still have access to the email my original ID was registered at. Hmmmm, back to the archives....

Well, I suppose I was always a bit of a fan of irony. If the sock fits, I suppose I ought to wear it, eh?
Technically I didn't really neeeeeed a sock to troll Varrus, but he was always a bit easier to fluster when one stacked the deck against him, so to speak. Not that I ever doubted he was indeed a sock himself.

He is most certainly not!
Everquest brought me in the first time and its going to free to play is what brought me around this time. Perhaps, I'll email support to see if I can get my original forum account restored. I hate to see that shiny green sage rating, and not massive but respectable post count fade away into the bowels of the internets. I even wore the Aude Sapere tag for a time.

If a username is the one you log in, then they certainly can be. I've changed mine before.

I never noticed anything break after mine changed. Hell, five or so of us changed em at once and I never knew the difference.

Awww Nad, I missed you most of all! This sock smells anyway, the sooner I can get back into my old Username the better. Between the combination of EQ going F2P and this being an election year, I was bound to end up back here! Perhaps the asylum really is unquitable. Or perhaps I'm just too old and crotchety to really give up old bad habits.
