So me and and a car full of women are attending a lovely small local event for spring break this year. We are staying a few days after for recovery and relaxation (and a reddit meet-up). I was wondering if any of you guys have suggestions for some sights and tastes that I should look into in our downtime.

Edit: Could have sworn I hit the r twice. ****.

Hey, I just left there.

not sure about san bernadino itself, but I would wander down to venice beach. Specifically there is an ale house there that has an amazing assortment of beer, and solid food. you can also embarrass yourself at muscle beach.

North along the PCH there is a little restaurant called the reel inn, that has good fish.

There's lots of good restaurants, I went to Spago, which was expensive but a lot of fun. It's in the Beverly Hills area where you can buy all sorts of very expensive fashion items if you are so inclined.

It's San Bernadino. I mean, it's a step up from Victorville, I suppose.

ZERO TOLERANCE FOR DRUG USE OR POSSESSION

The use or possession of any illegal drugs will not be tolerated anywhere inside or outside the venue. Narcotics officers will be working both areas and enforcing all drug related laws. Do not bring any illegal substances to the event as violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. If you are found intoxicated at the door security will not allow you to enter the venue. Event staff reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone. Please come with a smile and be prepared to enjoy a day and night of music, dancing, and the transformed environment of Beyond Wonderland.

Oh, I would never.

Word on the internet street is the event has more than the usual number of plain clothes guys, but this isn't my first rodeo so me and the people in tow will make do. Smiley: sly

You could always swing by the local Hells Angels clubhouse, I'm sure they'd take... err, entertain your women-folk.

San Bernardino and Riverside counties are the Inland Empire in California and as such, are looked down upon by us coastal folks. But spend time at Big Bear, Lake Arrowhead.

Since you're female-laden for this trip. Go to Cabazon Outlets for shopping. I will make the drive simply for those outlets.

But if I'm driving through San Bernardino and Riverside, it's generally because I'm on my way to Vegas.
