My sister just had her baby, so I'm an uncle now. 9.5 lb, 22 inches long. They ended up doing a C section, which was apperently kind of scary, but they came through fine. So, yay!

Congratulations. Remember, there's only a brief period of time where he'll/she'll be light enough to still be flown around he room with remote controlled helicopters.

That depends on the scale of the remote control helicopter! I hear I can get a surplus AH1-C cobra attack helicopter for a decent price, that would be big enough to fly a Me around!

Or maybe he really is only 2 inches long. This was done on purpose of course, so he could be flown around on the helicopter much longer!

Congrats Kao!

Whoops, was a typo. in fairness, I was pretty drained at that point. Full hardware specifications are: 9.5 lbs, 22 inches long, with a 36cm head. I don't know how they measure baby heads, so i'm not sure if thats diameter, circumference, radius, or area. Either way, i'm told that is fairly big.

He's actually the second place record size baby in the family so far. My little brother was 10 lbs23 inches. I was apparently in third place at 9.3 21 inches.

Wombat toys have been aquired, as have interesting noisemakers and lots of books.

Grats Kao! Smiley: king Just remember, when you pick him up over your head and say "Wheeee!', make sure you're not near a ceiling fan! My brother-in-law did that with another nephew. Didn't hurt him but it sure gave his lungs a workout. Smiley: cry And the rest of us near heart attacks! Smiley: yikes

Grats Kao.^^

I was over my pun quota for February, so by treaty I have to go a few days into march without using puns of mass destruction or else technically i'm in violation of several war crimes statutes and at least one zoneing ordinance.

Don't worry, i'm saving them up for another thread!

edit: quoted wrong post. oopsie.
