I think the coffee mug is the best place to start with merchandising. Smiley: tongue

Also DSD, I saw the puzzles blog, do you know about Wasgij puzzles?
They're puzzles where the box doesn't show the actual puzzle but reactions to what's happening in the puzzle.
And as a bonus, they're pretty tough so it'll keep your kids busy for ages.

I love the flamethrower idea. I may even have to go with SRM duct tape since that's my MO.
Aethien, havent seen those before, but the boys may love them. I seriously hate puzzles. Smiley: mad

I want coffee pajama pants.

Those puzzles will make for an excellent birthday/holiday/mom-doesn't-want-to-be-bothered gift because the addition of having to discover what exactly you're making is great. It's kept my now 13 year old cousin busy for ages and ages (as well as his dad. Many a Christmas has been spent with half the family trying to complete a new Wasgij puzzle.)
They've pretty much added the sense of excitement and wonder when you discover a new part of the world in an MMO to puzzling.

Oh...that's not really what I thought of when you were talking about coffee pants.

Huh. Those are kinda cool. My family mostly does puzzles without looking much at the picture anyway, but that's a nice twist.

I can recall two specific puzzles that were ridiculous in terms of toughness. One was a puzzle that consisted entirely of a zillion different colored balloons. Yeah. Box didn't help much with that one. Another was a maze. Like a white background, with just lines on it which formed a maze when completed. The bonus was that you could then use a crayon and solve the maze once you were done!

Good times.

The hardest puzzle I ever did was a 1000 piece double sided puzzle with no straight edges. It was hot air balloons. I love puzzles, but it nearly broke me.
