If you want to pull random numbers out of your *** to dig deeper into that hole you're in, be my guest. It doesn't actually change anything, but I guess if it makes your diminished ego feel a little better, you go right ahead. Trying to change variables after the fact to better favor your arguments isn't anything new, anyway.

Maybe you should borrow Alma's flashcards? You both seem to have the same linguistic failings.

Well, he's right. Just not in the way he thinks.

More than 22 versus 350.

How about 15 versus 5? Is 15 "a lot" compared to 5?

I used the phrase in response to a statement about how frequently I posted about Romney during the race compared to how often I did after he dropped out. I guess if you want to intentionally compare that to some other random number, proclaim it "not a lot" and claim victory, I can't stop you. I think that's pretty moronic though.

Because we all go to school so we can NOT use ANY of the stuff we learned in life. I guess you missed the memo, but the purpose of learning in school, was to have information for life. Kind of the reason why I stated "Scholastic Journals".. If you don't know, researchers post their work in the forms of papers, which (sigh/gasp) have sources!

That doesn't even pass the common sense test... "Hey, look what I discovered, but I wont tell you where I got it from, you have to find it yourself, but trust me.. it's legit. If you can't find it, then you're not looking hard enough!!"

If so,, then how about this.. "I found the answer. It stated the exact opposite. Now go find it to prove me wrong! I'm not going to tell you where.. Something to do with NCO of the year boards"

You're in denial. You made a statement that you would keep the same base pay until it catches up. I asked you to provide the regulation that states so. You mentioned something about Warrant Officers. Not only does that have nothing to do with OCS/ROTC (the topic at hand), that has nothing to do with finance.

It's very easy. Show me the regulation that supports that claim. If you can go back and quote me from threads ago, clearly you can reference an Army Regulation that you got your claim from.

None of which specifies an actual AR that states your claim. There you go again. You will spend a ton of time researching and referencing posts (only to keep the argument on in a circle) as opposed to just citing the regulation. Mainly, because that regulation doesn't exist.

What is the regulation? I can ctrl+f the reg to find your statement. When I find your statement within the reg, I will apologize and admit to my error.

Why are you talking about accounts receiveable because that's what AR means, right?

He's asking for the regulation I told him about a while ago, but has decided to hide for whatever reason. I figure he's focusing on pretending I didn't because he needs to focus on something other than how sad it is that he's posting on forums while on vacation.

Maybe it's different in the Army (seriously doubt it though), we have this little concept called "Trust but Verify" in the Air Force. Whether it's an airman giving information to a NCO or an NCO doing the same for an officer, we use this concept. Certainly, Gaxe gave you the information you require. Him being an NCO, you should accept that information at face value. However, as a good officer would do, you would then look this up yourself. Why? For the simple fact that if YOU pass this information on to someone else (maybe one of your troops) and it does turn out to be wrong, YOU are the one that looks like an ***.

Crying "Well someone else told me, an NCO at that so it's their fault" makes you look like a bigger ***.

The reverse is also true. If I told my airmen to go clean the sh*tter and wax the Flight Chief's office floor, I would be damned if I didn't check up on them once in a while. It's not that I don't trust them to do the job. On the off chance they didn't do what I asked or did it poorly for whatever reason, I can correct the issue or (better even) be able to tell the Flight Chief with 100% accuracy that the job was done to our standards.

The same happens when we work on a jet. Certainly said airman is qualified to perform said task, but it takes 2 people to make the correction in the aircraft forms. Airman performs maintenance; supervisor (read NCO here) ensures it was done correctly. Jet flies on schedule, pilot lives another day.

See, that's how it works in the military. That concept can be and should be applied in every situation you would find yourself in.

Otherwise, you look like an ***.

I did look it up and I provided the pay chart. He is claiming that he has something that counters my evidence, so I'm asking him to provide his evidence. I've done my part by doing the research. I WAS WRONG. I ADMITTED that I WAS WRONG. After realizing my ERROR, I found the RIGHT answer, which is not the answer that LolGAXE has provided. It is now his turn to support his claim. That's how life works.

No one said that. I'm pretty sure that I've admitted to my error several times now.

Really? The answer wasn't that you won't ever get a paycut for changing from NCO to officer like I said and provided you with the means to find the information and in fact it was like you and "all the NCOs who joined the Dark Side" said that there would be a paycut? Do tell.

Or just keep jumping up and down and crying. I'm amused either way. Smiley: popcorn

You said that you will maintain your old pay until your pay as a officer catches up. I countered to say that will never happen because your new pay as an officer WILL ALWAYS be more. So there will never a situation where you maintain your current pay until it catches up.

So, I'm asking you to provide the AR that states that you will maintain your current pay until it "catches up" with your new supposed pay.

Your response should be less than 10 characters. I'll even give you the first 2 characters for you "AR". I understand that given the fact that you made it up, it might be hard to actually provide it.

Ahh, so your problem is you don't even understand the conversation. That's sadder than I had thought.

Though not any less funny watching you cry about it.
