My new years resolutions are to not waste so much money on food and booze, eat better, and to get back in the gym.
Pretty standard stuff. The latter two are the easy ones, the former two will take some willpower.

As I like to point out...if you make resolutions on the first day of every year, you're missing out on 364 other opportunities for self-improvement.

I'm gonna quit smoking here in the next couple of days. After I get done working my ass off today and tomorrow with the caucuses in town. I've never attempted to quit before so I'm a little nervous, but committed.

Live bands are awesome. We have a good blues place in town that I always think "oh I should go there" but almost never do. Your idea is a good one.
