Aww, Belki. Don't be a sad moppet on Christmas.

Sounds like you and Mr. Belki need to start some new traditions.

I think so, too. :D

You're in Hawaii. Delicious Chocolate and Coconut snacks should be involved any new traditions.

Was with the wife's family today. Christmas morning we'll be having the kids open their gifts then off to my mother's for dinner. Was supposed to my father's house tomorrow, but my grandmother passed away yesterday morning so he's gone to bury her, so we'll do Christmas with him next week at some point.

That sucks Ugly, I'm sorry to hear that. My dad lost his father on Xmas Eve, and I know the holidays can still be tough for him because of it. Hope your dad's okay.

My dad died on Valentine's Day, while I was at my girlfriend's, losing my virginity. Good thing I'm not a practicing Catholic, or I might have felt really guilty.

just remember to hold it as tight as possible against your shoulder; otherwise it will be like being punched very hard (assuming it is a shotgun with any force)

And stand properly, so you can lean with and absorb the recoil force.

So I had a setback or three over the last couple months, and now my legs and hips feel like they are packed full of small glass shards, gravity is three times Earth normal, and when I walk it's also like trying to wade through seawater. So I've several times abandoned plans, and now I'm packing a bunch of cards and cash in my purse, and anyone (most people) who aren't covered by a gift, or food, are getting cash in a card this year. Wahoo.

On the bright side, I won't have to walk anywhere, so I'm wearing high heels for the first time in years. Also it's chain-painkiller time with moderate amounts of alcohol. Wewt!

Looking forward to seeing my side of family.

Sorry you're not well, Ari. And don't worry about giving money as a gift. It always fits, and it's always the perfect color.

posting here and drinking beer.

We hosting Christmas this year, my favorite types of christmas. It means I can drag *** all weekend and do what ever the heck I want. Being home is for Christmas is awesome. Apart from the clean up set up duties for dinner and drink It is almost the perfect weekend.

Oh and I am off for 9 days, that might have something to do with some of my holiday cheer. But this week was literally the week from hell, our team voted to work 5 12 hour days this week in order to only have to work 2 next week. Monday is a holiday and it would seem I happened to book teusday and wednesday off, So I don't have to work at all....9 days off.

Also Merry Christmas to all you folk. Have Safe, Have Fun, and enjoy all your new toys. and socks, likely lots of socks. (<3 the socks)

Doing nothing tonight. Doing the family and presents thing in the morning, but we keep it pretty low key since all of the grand parents are now gone. Monday I'm heading out to the bar with some friends, my buddy told me to make sure that my drinking shoes are polished... wtf does that mean?

No, no, he's referring to a drinking boot.

Alternately, this, if you're poorer.

You'll need the "Eye of the Jew" to drink from it properly.
