the man of the house is currently out purchasing christmas breakfast ingredients. We'll do some house cleaning and finish up wrapping this evening. Tomorrow my mom and her husband will drive down, throw their stuff down in a local hotel, then head over to spoil the kids rotten. we're having Eve dinner at The Pit where I will done on delectable fried green tomatoes and moonshine. After we'll give the Eve gifts out, watch NORAD to see whn we can hustle the kids off to bed.
Then we'll probably be woken up at 4AM by three over eager boys jumping on our beds.

I made biscotti last year for x-mas - a few different types. The Cranberry-almond was the favorite.
My daughter and her bf arrived home last night. With their help, we finally got the tree decorated.
The weekend will consist of lots of eating, bad singing, merriment and prezzies.

Jonwin gets off work at 4pm and tells me that if dinner isn't on the table by then, he'll walk out and go to McDonald's. We'll be exchanging presents Christmas Eve and playing Dreidel for gelt. Other two grand kids should have received their presents, we ordered last week.
Sunday Jonwin has off and we will go over to his brother's in the afternoon.

Regular chores: cleaning up the house and yard; laundry

at work now. after work not sure what is up. My love wants me to go caroling but I've been feeling under the weather so I may just go home and chill out. Tomorrow, not sure what the plan is. Christmas day we are heading to her parents' house to help make our dinner. Should be fairly chill - we aren't doing presents. It's such a relief not to participate in that aspect of Christmas.

This will be my first Christmas where I won't be with my mom and my brother. It's sort of depressing, and as such, I have not really gotten into the spirit. I sent out all my gifts via Amazon or other company delivery services. My mom gave me my gifts before I left, which was really just a $300 Visa gift card. It was really very nice of her. We used part of it to go across the island to Kona and stay for a night as a Christmas celebration. My husband has to work, so I'll be home by myself on Christmas, most likely playing WoW. He only has to work a few hours, so that's good, I guess.

So I had a setback or three over the last couple months, and now my legs and hips feel like they are packed full of small glass shards, gravity is three times Earth normal, and when I walk it's also like trying to wade through seawater. We hosting Christmas this year, my favorite types of christmas. It means I can drag ass all weekend and do what ever the heck I want. Being home is for Christmas is awesome. Apart from the clean up set up duties for dinner and drink It is almost the perfect weekend.
Oh and I am off for 9 days, that might have something to do with some of my holiday cheer. But this week was literally the week from hell, our team voted to work 5 12 hour days this week in order to only have to work 2 next week. Monday is a holiday and it would seem I happened to book teusday and wednesday off, So I don't have to work at all....9 days off.
Also Merry Christmas to all you folk. Have Safe, Have Fun, and enjoy all your new toys. and socks, likely lots of socks. (<3 the socks)

I don't think that reverance or respect for the dead needs the dead to be hidden from sight completely. It is the attitude that you bring, as a witness to a dead body, that matters, not the display and witnessing of a dead body, per se.
