I thought I would mention that Elne and I are going to the Hack and Slash Christmas Show this evening. If she is feeling well that is.
I will be working on the ship today and tomorrow, but have Sunday off. Think I may see if she wants to visit one of our local art galleries. I will be firing the gun twice today as I am the only one qualified, it is not as much fun as it used to be.

Enjoy your weekends. The Solstice is nigh!

Well, the old family cat just died, she was 20 years old and lived a great life. So this weekend I'll spending a little bit of extra time with mom. The poor woman is absolutely heartbroken.

Sounds like my mom. Only she has a lot more than one cat. And when any of her cats dies, she's a basket case for a few days. Yes, my mom is the crazy cat lady.

Aww, that's too bad, Lubri. Right before the holidays, too.

I have Mon-Wed off next week, work Thursday, have Fri-Mon off. Weird schedule, but whatever.

We've had four Christmases in a row where there was one or more less family members around, if you count pets, so it's almost a tradition now. The real crappy thing is that my stepfather works a 24 hour shift once every three days, so the day that we had to put the cat down, my mom had to sleep completely alone. She was always used to having Crystal there purring at her feet on those nights that he worked.

No real plans here. We leave on vacation a week from today so I suppose we'll spend some time straightening the house up so it can be a welcome sight to return to. Fear my action-filled weekend.

Is your daughter getting every MLP item ever made?

As for me, working on papers, studying and Christmas shopping.

Handing in my final assignment before the end of term. Then I'm going home to visit the family and friends.

I will probably be toasting the Hitch who passed away yesterday with some fellow fans.

Other than that it's time to do some Xmas shopping, blergh.

I gotta shovel out the guest room for my daughter and her bf who will be here early next week.

We've got to cut down a x-mas tree this weekend. We get them out of our own little forest; It's a bit challenging finding one that fills the need.

I think I'm due for a nice dinner out somewhere - maybe tonight.

As little as possible. I'm recovering from a fairly nasty bout of bacterial tonsalitis, and the associated evil antibiiotics that came with it, and I still feel like i've been ran over by a freight train.

I'm mostly alone this weekend, my wife's best friend is beginning her divorce from her over the top douchebag of a husband so there is a whole Saturday of man bashing ahead for her. This equates to me enjoying the Diablo 3 beta some more and destroying the chinese buffet with some buddies.

Me and the wife will probably spend an exiting night filling out cards..cards..and more cards.. Then more shopping procrastination.
Other than that the usual practicing guitar, reading (stuff) and think about if I want to get a tree or not, it's a little late I think but I may just set one up for my mom..
beside those.. not working is good enough for me.

Nothing specifically up for the weekend...cleaning up house for New Baby is an ongoing process...if it stays dry I may go work on wallruns and pole climbs.

Heh... I'm on some part of that game where I need to close a Gate outside each town. I wind up speed-running to the Sigil Stone in two Gates a night before saying "Egghh... that's enough of that."

I took the day off. I think we're going to the mall and parting ways so the fiance can pick up my present. For my part, I'll probably just go be the awkward guy above 18 milling around in the Gamestop.

Then we'll finish off decorating the tree. It's just got one line of lights around the bottom right now, which looks semi-pathetic.

Other than that, writing, Battlefield 3, and Skyrim, in that order.

Leg was hurting me so I came home early, going to take some of my meds and a nap. I have already switched my hours for tomorrow so that I am only working 4 instead of 8.

I am also getting excited about the Ravens vs. Chargers game on Sunday eve, then the Steelers vs 49'ers on Monday.

Okay, disregard my previous post. I'm now home with the dog because I pissed off the fiance by accidentally spoiling my own Christmas present. Smiley: rolleyes

Guess I'll just skip to the writing and Battlefield 3.
