I don't think that reverance or respect for the dead needs the dead to be hidden from sight completely. It is the attitude that you bring, as a witness to a dead body, that matters, not the display and witnessing of a dead body, per se.

Aw yes, I deal with that as well. He's still pretty young, just over a year old and we only have one cat so when he gets feisty he comes looking for me and not the wife, he learned quickly biting my wife leads to whacks across the nose.
