Whatcha doing this weekend?

Later today I'm driving the boys down to my moms where I will drop them off for ther weekend and laugh maniacally all the way home for 2 days of quiet. This will be Sorens first time away overnight from us parents so it will be intersting to see how he does.
Im hoping to go to a movie with the Mr. Anyone know if Immortals is good? Maybe get some holiday shopping done, and otherwise, sleep in late, and enjoy no kids screeching in the background Smiley: grin

It's going to be cold so i'm deciding on whether to cook gumbo or chili or corn beef and cabbage.
Mmm... corned beef and cabbage. Maybe I'll get a Reuben today for lunch.

I've been getting my lunches from some country store. On Fridays, they grill out. A piece of steak the size of my hand on a bun with a bag of chips, drink and dessert is $6. Score!

Sounds like the delis around here. Ask for a sandwich, and you get a cow between two slices of Wonderbread.

I plan on mostly lying around feeling exhausted and nauseated with intermittent efforts at housecleaning. I also plan on watching Smash play Skyrim for hours upon hours.

Doing some photography work tomorrow, lazy Sunday and picking up my cat on Monday. Yay for Monday!
Then I'll be entertaining myself with looking at and/or playing with the cat on Tuesday.

I'm going to need Smash to post Monday morning so I know he's not in a shallow grave with a frying pan shaped head wound.

No no, you misunderstand. I'll be *making* him play Skyrim. I'm too tired to play, but I like to watch. Also, I boss him around.

I wish my girlfriend would make me play Skyrim. Instead she just complains that she's bored and doesn't understand what's going on...

I wish I could afford to grab Skyrim at the moment, but it's just out of the question. I had to replace my mouse, which ended up running me about 80 bucks. So my weekend will consist of learning a song or two and playing Starcraft II a lot more. I need to go around and talk to a bunch of people about gigs for which I'm still stuck in booking... hate that process, but it'll be worth it if I get in to half the places I've been put in.

I just assume it won't run (well) on my system and not worry about it.

It doesn't have very taxing requirements, and still looks pretty damned good even on the lowest settings.

So it's just an open-world RPG? I vaguely remember something like that in...umm...one of the Ultima games. Somewhat interesting.
