Yeah, with a nickname like "The High Priest of the Painful Truth," how could I possibly be skeptical of his information? You know, besides being coherent during the 90s.

So is your argument that the media treatment of Clinton was too little (and so Cain's is more appropriate) or that Cain's is too much (and Clinton's was appropriate)?

Of course, the media in general was a different beast in 1998 but we'll set that aside. When the best you can do is cry about being discovered, you've already conceded the debate.

Only three national networks covered the moon landing in the United States. True story.

I didn't google anything. It's called talk radio. You might try it sometime.
I'd say "so you admit you believe what anyone says without any actual proof," but that was pretty obvious already.

Why don't you listen to boortz before you mouth off.
Only an idiot would believe what someone says at face value, so talk radio is worthless. Kind of explains why you're shilling for Boortz, though.

You know, the talk radio guys have it made.

1. They can say whatever drivel they want and they get paid to rant on the air.
2. They have idiots taking their drivel for the Absolute For Sure Truth.
3. The idiots then defend their drivel endlessly online, and give them free publicity, luring in MORE listeners.
4. Advertisers snicker with glee all the way to the bank.

On that note, Goldline was recently indicted for 19 counts of fraud.

I've listened to Boortz. He's just another incoherent, raging lunatic. Or do you believe that someone who wrote a book called The Terrible Truth about Liberals *doesn't* have some kind of agenda? I'm pretty sure that's where varus gets most of his talking points from.

Lunatic aside, it's a vague and meaningless claim.

Five stories... what? Five national print stories? Five broadcast news stories? Five initial stories? Five stories total across all mediums? Five AP stories over the course of a week?

If Varus wants to clarify (ha!), he's welcome to but I'm not the one making the claim so I'm not really interested in doing the legwork to defend it.

Is that a saucer magnolia? We grow those here although they're not especially popular. We're mainly about ornamental crabapples and flowering pears.

I was right. That's a very lovely tree. The best we have is the one at Rockefeller Center, and that hardly counts.
