Who is dressing up and if you have kids what are they dressing up as? I want pics tomorrow morning, chop chop!

After a long talk about how, just because I may be a mom does not mean I know how to sew, let alone sew crazy *** costumes of pokemon I have never heard of, Xavier is going as a ninja. Cause Pikachu didn't cut it for him.

Ashe has gotten me addicted to ebay now, because of his costume choice. He is addicted to Link from Zelda and those are hard to find (unless you check ebay). He has his ocarina, I made him a Navi to sit on his shoulder, his sword, and sheild. He was a little disgruntled that I couldnt find him deku nuts but oh well.

And Soren picked out his own costume for the first time this year. He is going as Mario. The costume is 2 years too big so he will be Mario for the next few years. Smiley: tongue

I created my own costume with black leather pants, corset, full cloak, daggers, and calf high boots. Showing my own geekiness, it's a representation of my avatar, Meiune, throughout all the games I've played her. I love it Smiley: inlove

I'll be escorting Minnie Mouse and a Pumpkin around the neighborhood after the holiday get-together. Nothing special planned for myself.

Don't let that stop you from dressing up like a vampire and demanding food from your neighbors. Smiley: wink

I'd rather dress up as Van Helsing and kill the vampires so I can take their candy.

I don't plan on dressing up, but Noah is going as Jason. A nice easy costume. We're not doing the door-to-door thing this year, there's a big to-do downtown tonight, so we're going there. He already has tons of candy from the party we had here at the apartment complex Saturday night. I've had way too much of it. Smiley: glare

You still go trick-or-treating?

Last I got involved I was buying candy by the bagful to hand out to ungrateful kids.

Anyways, I bought myself a stale, old five-dollar candy bar today.

I picture him more going as Richard Simmons with his rainbow sweatbands and short-shorts.

Just as a "joke", of course.

I didn't leave my apartment Saturday night with a costume, but somehow I had one when I returned: a set of pink glittery fairy wings. I'm still not quite sure how I got them, but I seem to recall that a pretty girl was involved.

We went to the mall since it's still pretty cold ans snowy up here, and didn't want to go with my brother's family to wherever they were going. But the mall sucked, and on the way home stopped in town and went through neighborhood I knew was good for loot. Thom went as Woody the Sheriff, and in tradition of the Toy Story movies he kept losing his hat, so we gave up on that and left it in the car.

We call it the candy tax. Smiley: nod

It was raining last night and didn't clear up like the forcasters said, so we also hit the mall. Bad choice because the entire Triangle decided to as well. They ran out of candy before we even got there it seems. So we decided to grab stuff to make home made hot cocoa and let the kids hand out candy to our three trick or treaters. Fortunately we had done a lot of Halloween activities for the past week so the kids were ok.

I found a pile of candy on my desk this morning. There is another pile at the coffee-pot counter.

Milk Duds, Charleston Chews and Almond Joys are my fav.

Those are some well adjusted kids. I'd say you lucked out, but it sounds like great parenting instead of luck.

'Coworkers', great coworkers that have no problem redistributing their kids phat lootz to candy-starved adults at the office.

Last night, my son went out as Superman and my daughter as a princess. For school, my son brought his Buzz Lightyear costume and for a Sunday Halloween party, he was a fireman.

My son went out as batman and my daughter as Cinderella.

My daughter is 4. I asked her if I could have all of her chocolate bars and she said "OK Daddy!" and started grabbing them all for me. Kids are awesome. (no, I did not take all of my 4 year old's chocolate bars)

I bought waaaaaay too much candy. We live at the end of a court that only has houses on one side of the street. We just bought the house this year so we weren't sure what to expect. We got about 20 kids, I bought enough candy for 150, easy.

I couldn't top last year's though..

I'm happy we had 3 great Halloweens where I was in full control of his costume but I'm sad for next year. I can't even begin to think of a costume for him as I'm sure he'll have a voice of his own by then. I hope he turns out to be a cool kid (:

I dumped all the candy. He's not lucky enough to eat it. If he ever gets it, it's only been MILKY so far and not often at all.
