Snow started up here around 12:30-1pm here, now have about four to five inches of heavy, wet stuff. Lots of power outages all over the northeast but I'm still up, for now. Who else is getting hit?

My perfectly crisp 70F fall weather is laughing at your snow right now.

Can a city like, reschedule Halloween? Just say "Hey guys, we're snowed up right now, let's just try this again on Friday when it all melts" ?

Laughing? I'm loving this! I live for the opportunity to cut my out of the neighborhood with my chainsaw. I spent two hours this morning cutting up some extra firewood before the snow started. Will probably spend the first half of tomorrow shoveling. It's great exercise.

Seeing as how we didn't have any real plans, it doesn't change much. We bought a bunch of groceries and are hunkered in watching season 1 of The Walking Dead.

Our DVD player apparently kicked it so my wife can't watch Bride Wars. What a shame. Power would probably go out in half an hour anyways.

I'm spending the night with my parents on the coast, because I don't have the energy to deal with the roads back to New Brunswick.

We got about 3 inches here so far, but currently it is raining. Shoveling tomorrow is going to be a pain in the ***.

I lost power for about an hour but then it came back on. Must be some trees leaning on the power lines and shedding snow. Can't get a good measure but it looks like about eight inches of wet, heavy, sticky snow - it's drooping over the railings. This would be at least a foot of light, fluffy stuff. Still coming down...

That's some **** Deb.

We had a cold rain all day yesterday, but today is clear. I think you have our storm. Right now it's in the low 40's, but it's going to get down into the low 30's tonight. That's not usual for the south at this time of the year.

Yes, I turned the heat on last night. Smiley: glare

I'd laugh at your snow, but I know the worst around here will be Jan-Mar, so I won't poke that karma-bear! Smiley: laugh

Considering we had an exceptionally snowy winter last year, and just as much rainfall this summer, the East coast may just wash into the Atlantic. but I've got a bottle of Jack Daniels Green Label to tide me over!

It's been cold enough around here in the mornings at least lately that I wouldn't be suprised if we get some snow here on the west coast sooner than later.

Sick and Xavier were back up in MA and I havent stopped giggling since I heard they were getting hit with snow. They got over 2 feet of it. Fortunately their flight home was only delayed 15 minutes. I've been listening to Sick bitch and moan the past 2 days about it while hearing Xavier squeal "WHEEEEEEE" in the background Smiley: laugh

It's sunny and 52 here Smiley: cool

The snow started to fall when I got out on the range to qualify with a rifle, and continued while I was going for the pistol.
