Mostly folksy stuff that you'd all find boring.

Last week, it was a NOFX Pandora station to pump me up for the concert I attended last Thursday.

This weeks it's a Misfits station.

Here check out this men's ensemble, Cantus, doing DMB's Gravedigger. They're pretty awesome.

Currently listening to what seems to be my roommate's iPod on shuffle.

First, Tracy Chapman's "Give Me One Reason", now Mischief Brew's "Roll Me Through the Gates of Hell"

The Misfits are awesome.

And I've been listening to my Prog collection for the last few days, Porcupine Tree, Yes, Camel, Genesis etc.

Van Canto is my top right now. I love how amazing they sound acapella and a drum. The video I chose to share is apt for a gaming forum (and has a little more instruments in it than normal) although I can listen to their cover of Rebellion all day.Smiley: cool

I think acapella groups are just gimmicky cover bands.

Bam.

On topic, I'm listening to a lot of vocal jazz lately. Ella Fitzgerald & the like.

I wish I could listen to Pandora. I'd be listening to a Jeff Beck one in preparation for the concert I'm going to next Friday.

I have no idea what you're talking about. Smiley: bah

You have to admit that they're getting a little fad-y, though.

Smiley: lol It's ok. We cant all have voices like that.
Fad-y? Maybe. But they sound good, and I'd rather listen to their "fad" than the crap they play on the radio down here any day.

You familiar with Apocoplyptica? Granted they do a lot of covers, but I love them too. Makes me want to learn how to play a cello Smiley: smile

Yup. I'm not Jesus is my favorite of theirs, but mostly cause of Corey Taylor. I'm not crazy about their covers, as I don't think that cellos alone really suit the songs that they pick. Really takes the wind out of the sails of say, One.

Oddly enough though, I think this is awesome. Their Stairway to Heaven cover is also pretty cool, and their originals are good stuff if you're into that sort of thing.

I burned Sasha's airdrawndagger to CD so I could listen to it in the car today.

Last night, this video to "Pumped Up Kicks" got me hooked on dubstep.

That song is atrocious. It doesn't help that the only radio station that actually comes in at the office plays it every hour. Every single time I hear it, it makes me want to punch kittens.

He posted a dubstep remix of it, the dance of which is pretty frickin' impressive.
