Anything good out there?

I just finished Deus Ex, really well put together. Definitely recommend a play through. Cancelled Rift after a week, Sweet Lord that game is grind tastic.

Alla guild on WoW anyone?

Nothing really online. My City of Heroes sub runs through December but I haven't been on much. It actually only exists right now because I forgot to stop the auto-sub in time.

Offline, I'm working through a stack of stuff from Steam's last summer sale. Finished Dragon Age (the first) and started Mass Effect but I hate ME's interface with a burning passion so I might move on to something else soon. Dragon Age is easily in the top three games I've ever played, if not on the top (eh, it'd have to fight Fallout for that).

My husband and I are playing DDO for free right now. It's not WoW, but it's better than Rift.

Still plugging away at WoW. No active alla guilds atm. that I know of. A few of the bored druids tried to get a PvP group together. It didn't really go anywhere with us having trouble finding times people were on and such.

Other than that free LOTRO on occasion. This morning both games were on maintenance at the same time (Smiley: mad) and I wasted time looking over the SW:TOR homepage. That game still has a chance to pull me away, but I wasn't amazed by what I was seeing or anything.

No more MMORPGs for me.

Just picked up Dark Souls and Rage, though. So that's what I'll be doing for the foreseeable future.

I haven't had time for anything in a while, unfortunately. I spent some time toying with glitch this past week, since I could do it in small bursts before classes. :P

Thinking about toying around with LoL and HoN, since the match system means that I can play for smaller bursts (at least now that the new game system was introduced in LoL). But I haven't been feeling too competitive lately, so I might end up craving something more PvE.

I have no interest in going back to WoW and my PC can't run Rift.

I do have active accounts in EVE, but basically all I've done for the past month is log in to set my training queue.

My WoW account has been inactive for almost two years now (except when somebody hacked into it), and I briefly got into LOTRO, but quickly lost interest.

I'm actively playing OGame still (US server Andromeda), as well as StarCraft 2. I recently downloaded Stonekeep and romped through that in a few weeks. Other than that, I've been sticking to console games; I'm currently playing Gears of War 3, and anticipating Skyrim and the new Assassin's Creed release.

Skip Mass Effect 1 and go to part 2, it's a much better game. They fixed the stupid inventory issues.

Loved Dragon Age, definitely in my all time top 5.

Steam is the greatest service ever, you can pick up so many ridiculously low priced games it's not even funny. I'm still holding out for Portal 2 to hit $15 or less...

I went back to WOW~! Untouchable Sage isn't active, so I found a new guild called The Dead Can't Testify, on Crushridge, which is reviving itself and recruiting like crazy. So far all us newbies to the guild seem to be working out well, we''re having some good times in chat and vent. I really needed to go back to an MMO with vent for some regular human company without leaving the house. There's one 13 year old, and I am merrily corrupting him. Any teasing protests he makes about language or adult concepts I meet with the reply, "it's educational".

The guildies I know most so far about have tragic lives or mental problems or are otherwise misfits, so I fit right in. I have been complimented on being so unaplogetic about being weird. I like them for being friendly, laid back and sporadically helpful. The one drawback is that most of them are teens or young twenties, so the conversation while funny, doesn't really get around to meaty world affairs or politics. I miss that from my old skype/guild buddies.

I'm just about to hit the Cataclysm zones, and am planning on clearing out their quests for the rep gear and the guild exp points. Most looking forward to the Ancient Egyptian and the Underwater zones.

Holy sh*t, you are right. Good call. Includes the free DLC too.

Crysis 1 with the DLCs is only $9.99 too. Love Steam.

I'm playing ARMA2 now, and a bit of the BF3 beta.

I'm glad to hear that Rift is no better than just another MMORPG grinder; after playing the beta for a few weeks I came to the same conclusion: it's still all the same.

I have active subs in WoW and LOTRO, not playing much of either ATM. Bought Dragon Age for my 360 and have been dabbling in that for a bit. On the PC I grabbed Planescape:Torment from GoG.com, and have started that again. I absolutely loved that game but never finished it. I have the old discs here, but the game was very unplayable on my system. GoG version works perfectly. It's a dated game, but perhaps one of the best RPGs I've ever spent any time with.

Been playing Rift. After playing FFXI for years nothing seems like a grind in comparison. Though I'll probably quit after I hit level 50 and realize I have no interest whatsoever in end game. That happily should coincide nicely with the release of Skyrim followed very quickly by AC: Revelations. I've already bought Skyrim and will be buying AC as soon as I decide if the bonus items are worth the extra forty bucks for the C.E. Uncharted 3 is looking like another purchase, but I have no interest in the multiplayer, so I'll probably wait a few months and try to get it cheap at the local den of evilGamestop.

...bought. I had $4.01 sitting in my Steam wallet doing absolutely nothing, so I figured I might was well use that up. This seemed like the best way.

Played Rift, got bored, cancelled sub. Finished both Dragon Age (and expansion/DLCs) and Dragon Age 2. Both great games. I think I was more attached to the first game's characters though.

Thought I was done with MMORPGs but while I'm greatly anticipating Diablo 3, I reloaded Diablo 2 and it's expansion but then I decided to hop back into WoW. I had picked up Cata when it first came out but I cancelled WoW around that time. So now I'm trying to figure out how to play my 80 Pally (Snorre) with new specs (Protection/Holy) builds and figure out where to level up. Playing mostly on Steamwheedle Cartel server but have alts floating around other servers, too, if anyone wants to do some dungeon runs.

I have lifetime subs for LOTRO and Champions Online but pretty bored with both. Bummed that Warhammer Online wasn't as good as it could have been, with it's awesome source material.

Other games I've enjoyed recently is Left 4 Dead (also have Left 4 Dead 2) - what's not to like about shooting zombies? I've yet to play fully through Mass Effect 1 and 2. I also have The Witcher 1 and 2 but like Mass Effect, barely put any time into The Witcher. Also have Brink which is pretty fun when I'm in the mood to play it. Team Fortress 2 is hilarious fun, too. Steam rocks.

Witcher 2 is pretty amazing, but even with a new rig I still run into performance issues.

Once Rift introduced daily grind quests at level 19, even Blizzard wasn't that lazy. Daily quests are the worst invention in gaming history. Even with +300% exp it was still painful to play. Shame because the class system, graphics, and dynamic events are a great addition.

I will check out DC Online when it goes free to play, should be any day now.

Preorders in for BF3, Assassin's Creed, and Skyrim. Should keep me out of trouble for awhile.

I have and enjoy L4D2 but I almost always wind up playing offline because the people playing it online take it waaaaayyyy too seriously and want no truck with my newbie learning shenanigans.

I enjoy TF2 but haven't played for a while. I like playing medic and got a little burnt out seeing this. Actual screenshot taken by yours truly.

Played DCUO for a bit but I just get bored playing Superhero mmos.

Doubt I'll get Skyrim - I can never finish Bethesda games, which is sad since I should support my local game developer more (work in Bethesda, MD).

I finshed Left4Dead, Joph, so I should be getting into Left4Dead 2 soon if you want to co-op. Are you playing on the PC or X-Box360? I have both - got the X-box versions for when my local friends want to go zombie hunting.

Hilarious screenshot - never saw that many spies at once!

Always up for an Alla guild as long as I don't have to be GL. Smiley: tongue

Sounds great, let me know when it's a good time for you to go zombie hunting - hit me up on FB or here. Awesome that this game has voice-chat capability, too. Have you already done the campaign? If not, it would be great to give that a go in co-op mode.

Zombie Island was a good time, just beat it. The glitches are funny, the story is lame, but the game play is lots of fun. Build weapons: kill zombies with them, what's not to love? Add in 4 person Co-Op & it's nothing but fun. Guns are only "really" effective against humans while you have to melee, slice, & stab the zombies. The graphics, while good, aren't great. However, the sound is really effective. When you enter a new area, by listening you can usually tell if there're zombies around & what type they are (Walkers: Think Romero Zombies, Infected: Think 28 Days later, etc.). What the sound won't tell you, however, is if that body lying on the ground is gonna get up & try & eat you. The Island itself is huge, so there's lots & lots to explore.

Other than that, Ogame (Io Server) & the new Fallout: New Vegas DLC. The only game I'm looking forward to coming up would be Bioshock: Infinite.
