Not really. What jail you're held at can depend on whether the local cops deferred to the state cops or vice versa. So on and so forth depending on what the actual crime is. I'm not really interested in debating it with you but, if you're going to try and play professor, you should at least have your facts straight.

I'm really not sure what relevance that has to the release rules for a single specific county jail. You're drifting well away from the question at hand.

Rock on, Professor.

Nah. That's my stock answer when you realize you're losing an argument and grab desperately like a drowning man onto anything else you can argue instead. It's how a topic about early release procedures in a county jail system somehow morphs into you arguing about police officers chasing suspects across jurisdictions within a state. And yeah, sometimes I just have to reign your ass in a bit otherwise next thing we know you'll be insisting that I'm wrong because the moon really isn't made out of cheese or something. You wont know what I'm wrong about, or how it relates to the topic, but you'll be sure of it! Smiley: nod

Losing what argument? I haven't posted in pages and my last post then was to agree with you that Asstard County isn't rife with disenfranchised Muslims.

Hey, any port in a storm to avoid admitting your errors, I guess. Nice job, Professor.

Er? Um... But that's not what I'm arguing anyway, so it really doesn't matter.

Would I have to watch curling matches all winter then? Because I don't think I could handle that.

Yes. With the idea that the "But it's not passed by Congress" argument doesn't fly. Hence my statement that the current argument rests on the question of whether the 14th amendment only applies to individual rights and thus isn't applicable to the establishment clause of the 1st amendment (or should apply less globally than some think it should).

I'd say with Canada, except...there is no Hawaiian word for "wind chill", so that won't work.

Let us take Hawaii, but you can have Quebec and Alberta.

Yeah, it doesn't. Your uniformed opinions on the 14th amendment don't really matter when there are figurative mountains of precedent with regard to these sorts of cases.

Is the supremacy clause somehow non-existant?
