He's such a philosopher.

The snow and the robin Hogs'watch card is so hilarious, too.

I heard he got diagnosed with some kind of alzheimer's recently.

Terrible thing, as I love his books.

He did a special on assisted suicide after he was diagnosed which was pretty interesting.

He's currently still able to write his books, but he now does it by dictating to his assistant.

Hogfather was on Netflix last time I looked, I really need to sit down and watch it.

That's an absolutely terrible moral and pretty much the sole source of unnecessary suffering in the world.

I just finished reading his latest, Snuff. It's a wonderful Sam Vimes story, read it!

Would it interest you to know that Terry Pratchett is a vehement atheist, doesn't believe in any Gods or holy books, thinks the universe and humanity is an extraordinary wondrous physical phenomenon, and thinks that morality arises from human reason rather than divine "laws"? He writes comedic fantasy, full of gods and non-humans and witches and wizards. They are written in a mythical method: multilayered messages that require a broad understanding to get the "inside story". Or at least, the inside jokes. Smiley: grin

I never would have discovered Terry Pratchett if I hadn't of been a Neil Gaiman fan. Good Omens is in my top 5 books I could never get sick of.

I do love Terry Pratchett. There's some kind of sage wisdom to be found in his books. One of my all time favourites, personally.
