Not that many would care, but the place doesn't seem that bad of a place, speaking from an environmental point of view. Granted, my view has only been at two installations and the two convoys there, but the weather isn't as hot as I expected and has nice vegetation. Most of the houses that I've seen from the road looked much better than the average house in the Philippines that I've seen.

Kuwait, on the other hand, completely sucks monkey balls. It feels like you got trapped in the oven and the only time the oven door opens up is when someone throws a bucket of sand in your face........

There were some nice green areas in Generation Kill. Where did they film that?
