My only regret in Varus leaving is that I don't post here enough to have gotten a Varus nickname IE. lagaga and Jophed, and now I won't have the opportunity... Not an entirely sought after name, sure, but I still sorta want one.

I hope this doesn't make lurking less interesting here cause all the Varus hate sure does kill time. Smiley: frown

Don't worry, he's not gone. You have plenty of time to earn an obnoxious nickname.

I got the impression that varus likes to do the opposite of what people want...so now that he's let everyone know his desire, he's almost certainly not going to get it now. =X

He's just as susceptible to reverse-psychology as any other weak-minded fool.

He doesn't get it on his best days. He goes in the complete other direction normally.

If that's a good day, what's a day from hell?

If everyone claps their hands really loudly, varus might come back soon.

I should be in the UT area Thursday afternoon. If I spot him out "cruising for hotties" I'll let him know that you guys said hello.

Nads,

If you're feeling really adventurous you could even have lunch with me. Of course after seeing me you might want to strip off your clothes and jump right in bed w/me so on second thought.

Bijou,

knoxsouthy75 is my handle on chess.com if you can ever figure it out.

Kao,

I've said it once and I'll say it again. I'd just have to agree with Joph and the rest of the the brain dead democrat automatons and I'd fit right in. Granted I'd have to change my writing style but that's easy enough.

I won't be there at lunch. It'll be closer to 5. But you're right. I probably wouldn't be able to control myself, so I'll pass on the lunch date.

Never happen. You wouldn't be able to handle the lack of attention.

Ok I realize I am an Asylum outsider but I have a theory behind Varus.
Varus is a shared persona controlled by the asylum 'crew'. Each time a version of Varus is banned a new person gets to take over. It is a form of stress relief and a chance to see just how far away from an actual human one can get.
That or he's Rush limbaugh.

I am disappointed and angered that somebody rated this thread back above the Mendoza Line. It was fittingly poetic that a thread about the Virus was immediately blasted down to sub-default, like he is destined to be forever.

At least Rush Limbaugh helps kids in the boondocks in danger of losing their homes on adventures to find pirate gold. Beck just demands you buy it.
