Yeah, I can't see how that could possibly go wrong for the soldiers still overseas.

Last night when I went to bed, all the networks were going on about how we would need to produce the body to convince the terrorist world that we really had killed him, which is why they "captured" his body to begin with. Apparently that changed in the 7 hours I slept.

There's certainly no tangible proof now, you must admit.

We needed the body to do the DNA testing, but we also wanted to honor it as was appropriate in his faith, so it had to be buried within so many hours or it is considered desicrated.

IMHO, the last thing we need is for some crazy to insist that we all be bombed because we didn't honor bin Laden's faith and have his body propery buried.

My understanding is that they took DNA from the body. In any event, unless the idea is to have the body take an extended tour of the nation's shopping malls and rail stations, all the folks saying it must be a fake wouldn't be looking at the corpse anyway.

Or would say it's a fake when they did see it.

Or say that Kenya didn't really exist back then.

Yes, I'm sure they didn't bother to take any photographs or save copies of any of the DNA tests used to verify his identity.

You all realize the only reason this happened last night was to steal the attention away from Canada on its election day, right?

No, you said equally right before it because your entire post was meant to denigrate my position as little more than hypocrisy. Trying to cover it up now with wordplay that doesn't fit the generally accepted usage of the original gambit is sad and pathetic.

I find it a bit disturbing that people were celebrating in the streets last night. We vilify people who celebrate in the streets when they kill us.

Muslim-Americans were amongst those partying, so don't feel too bad. They're as glad to see him gone as anyone else; maybe now rednecks in Tennessee and NYC will stop vilifying their mosques and community centers.

3000 dead Americans, thousands upon thousands of dead muslims, two invasions/occupations that have no end in sight, hundreds of billions of dollars, all for a bearded old fart who has been irrelevant for several years.

Whats not to celebrate?
