The text on my screen has gone... thinner. This is a system wide issue, as near as I can tell, not just Firefox. Almost as though the resolution has changed or something. It was working fine yesterday and I haven't changed anything that I know of.

Larger or bold text seems fine but regular text seems excessively thing and almost nonexistent in some curves.

I've no idea how much this image will help since none of you saw my screen pre-problem but...

Work computer with integrated Intel graphics (updated drivers). Tried fiddling with the screen settings but to no avail.

Hm, could just be needing a new graphics card as opposed to updated drivers. Otherwise, I have no idea. Hardware issues aren't my strong point. Have you checked for viruses or malware?

Ah HA!

Somehow my Windows settings were changed from ClearType to Standard. How that happened, I have no idea but switching it back fixed the issue.

Looks like you zoomed out of the text portion.

Perhaps it's time to visit your eye doctor?

Did you install new software on the machine recently?

Some of the software at work has a nasty habit of doing that because it doesn't work with anything but standard.

Did you try changing your Windows settings from ClearType to Standard? I don't know how that could happen, I have no idea but switching it back might fix the issue.

This. Even though you fixed the problem, spend money uneccessarily on it.

On one hand, it's not my computer; it's the company's.

On the other hand, that means it's the company's money and if there's one thing I'm good at as a liberal, it's spending other people's money.

SCORE!!

Dear Jophiel,

Congratulations on your recent internet win.

Don't worry, I'm sure the website developer has the problem in his surveyor's mark.

It isn't a cd changer it is a cup holder.

Please do not put a cheap styrofoam cup in it and press close.
