Because you seem to have an incomprehensibly hard time accepting that there's more than just "liberals" and "conservatives", I will lay out my political views for you to see.

I believe in government controlled and funded public education.

I believe in political but not corporate globalization.

The primary job of a governing body should be to make the highest number of people, the most happy, for the longest period of time.

I feel attack ads by any party should be banned during election campaigns, forcing candidates to rely on public reaction to their stance on the issues.

I believe in corporate tax cuts on the condition that executives of said corporations, making more than 100k annually pay a flat 15% tax rate.

Those making less than 10k/year should be exempt from income tax.

Money is a system of measurement, saying that one is out of money is akin to a carpenter saying he can't finish a job because he is out of inches.

One should not pay for a war with deficit spending.

Oil is a necessary resource and as such we are unable to lower our dependency on it, however, because it can't possibly last forever(as no resource truly can), we need to be looking into alternatives and implementing them over the next few decades.

Capitalism and a free market economy are necessary for the success of any nation in the world today.

We are not a civilised race. We are merely technologically advanced, and technological advancement is not the same as being civilised. We are animals with computers.

I hate Isreal, but I don't have any problems at all with people of Jewish descent. Hating a country and its actions doesn't mean you hate it's people.

I believe that politicians/celebrities are normal people like the rest of us and their lives outside of their jobs shouldn't have to be an open book.

I believe that elected officials should collect no paycheck. One should decide to serve the people because they want to, not because they want to be paid to do so.

I believe in an electoral system where one can vote for both a local rep and the leader of a nation separately from one another, with actual votes being used to make the final decision, and without an electoral college.

To declare war or send troops to any foreign nation should require a 90% majority in senate/house/parliament/etc.

Religion has no place in government.

Marijuana should be legalized but controlled and taxed by the government, thus simultaneously lowering crime rates, and increasing the "cash wealth" of the nation.

Drugs proven to be physically addictive should be kept illegal, but there should be easier access to a rehabilitation program that costs less than the addictive drugs themselves.

I believe corporate lobbying should be illegal and punishable by a large fine to both the individual lobbyists and the conmpanies that hire them.

There is no such thing as a natural right. By definition rights are given by a governing body and hence are not naturallly occurring.

I think Locke was an idiot.

I also think Marx is irrelevant in modern times.

I think anyone who feels the need to buy expensive things to feel better about themselves and to show off their social status and higher level of "wealth" is an idiot.

I could go on, but I think that's enough as is, and it's already a bit long for something of no real consequence. Stop calling me a Liberal, stop watching tv news, start reading intellectual literature.

Oh, you just made a point for me. You don't like to read, do you. Everything needs to be pictures and videos with you. It's a shame, you have no idea what you're missing.

Hard to be interesting in text when you're a ****** writer. I really do think I'm better than the average person though, especially people like Varus or Alma(however I completely respect Gbaji and his views as he will actually tend to be sensible about the way he talks about them). There are tons of people better than me, but lots who aren't too.

drift,

Actually when I read I prefer the classics. Not the idiotic ramblings of online deuschbags. Currently i'm reading Melville.

Oh and I don't have cable or watch tv unless it's one of my hundreds of dvds.

lol...that's priceless. How do you define better? Do you give more? Do you pay more in taxes? Do you make more $? Are you more athletic? Is the girl you're seeing hotter? Is your car faster? Is your house bigger? Do you own your house?

The answer to all of those things is no(well, except that in my opinion, no woman is as beautiful as the one I'm seeing).

But those aren't the things that make one person better than another. I'd actually even say that not seeing those things as making one better, makes one inherently better than those who do.

That depends on your idea of what a douchebag is. For example, I'm quite happy not to be a douchebag.

If being a douchebag just means you're an *******, then I may be deserving of the title, but I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder.

Its part of my family crest.

Its an Eagle with wings spread, "middle feather" sticking up, and the term "Niente male con essere un sacchetto di douche." in a banner along the bottom.

What a waste of time. If you're not a Republican shill and a Christian fundamentalist, then you're a dirty heathen Liberal. When it comes to varus, lack of grey matter means lack of grey areas.

I've got something actually nice for Varus!

Gold tops $1500 per oz for first time ever. Varus said a few years back that he had most of his money in gold, so hopefully he feels like he's making out like a bandit!
