At this point, we should just get Bill Cosby to be Speaker of the House. Whenever a republican or democrat stands at the podium to speak, he can make a bunch of weird noises and gestures and add at least 53% more legitimacy to the topic.

the GOP lied

Yes, I know. I was wondering why you were trying to change the topic to Obama rather than admit this simple fact.

Speaking of the GOP lying, the clip of Senator Jon Kyl (R-AZ) on the 8th about Planned Parenthood and abortion is HILARIOUS. The section on wikipedia:
Quote:
On April 8, 2011, Kyl spoke on the Senate floor and claimed that performing abortions is "well over 90 percent of what Planned Parenthood does." Planned Parenthood responded that 90 percent of its services are preventative, and only 3 percent are abortion-related. A spokesperson for Kyl later claimed the senator’s remark "was not intended to be a factual statement but rather to illustrate that Planned Parenthood, an organization that receives millions in taxpayer dollars, does subsidize abortions."

Apparently his office also failed to note that federal funding to PP, by law, cannot go to the abortion procedure. Man, it takes guts to blatantly lie on the floor of the Senate Smiley: lol
Both Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert did segments on this and they were both hilarious.

You keep calling Obama a scumbag, can you list three example of why that is. I'm asking for three, but I will accept one if you can't think of three.

Yeah, how about that? Smiley: lol

I've never understood how people can think that a good education is a bad thing. It's akin to Mao's stance of crushing education institutions during the cultural revolution in China. People who willfully choose ignorance... what a disturbing phenomenon Smiley: frown

And lolrasmussen. At least use the RCP average if you're going to go in that direction.

Yale is the cool kids' Ivy League.

Why so anti-knowledge, Varus? Intimidated that the president is vastly more intelligent than you? Why is intelligence bad, and specifically, when it comes to making decisions?

Go.

You do get that by *not* paying attention at all to what the wonks are saying and just looking at the situation at hand, I'm more likely to see the issue as the public will see it than you are, right?

Better living through anti-intellectualism and planned ignorance: it's the Republican way.

Speaking of which, I made some skittles-flavored vodka the other day.

Still tastes like paint-thinner Smiley: glare I think vodka is my least favorite hard liquor. Give me tequila any day... or rum, that's usually good.

He lied about his birth certificate.

He lied about gitmo.

He accepted a nobel peace prize for doing nothing.

He spent more in his first years than all the presidents for the last 20yrs combined.

He's never worked a real job a day in his life.

He's an attorney.

He associates with people like Sharpton and the Rev. Wright and outspoken terrorists like Bill Ayers.

He's in bed with unions.

He uses the govn to take over private businesses (banks and car companies).

He insults our allies while bowing to our enemies (literally and figurativly).

He has no class.

And I could go on and on.

Ah, ok I get it.

You don't need to try to insult me by shortening my name to "atard". its ailitardif...if you need to shorten it, Aili is fine.

Could you just do me a favor and explain what the birth certificate lie is? I haven't heard about this.

Only better living for a chosen few, the few to be chosen by democrats of course. That's the difference. I'm about freedom you liberals are about subjugation and stealing from Peter to feed Paul.

When you say intellectualism what you're really talking about is socialism.

Lulz...I don't think you know what Intellectualism is, and you most certainly don't know what a socialism is.
