To make a long story short, I don't take any responsibility for anything I post here. It's not news, it's not truth, it's not serious. It's parody. It's satire. It's bitter. It's angsty. Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

Barack Obama is about to speak. I'll say this: She barely won in NH, and he smoked her in Iowa. They both have 8 delegates, but he's definitely not out of it.

CNN, sticking its neck out, just called NH for Hilary.

Hillary looking good, coming across very authentic. If anything, this could have given her the personality edge that she was previously lacking. She is postively oozing warmth. Someone's coached the hell out of her, and it's very flattering.

Personally, I feel for her, because she's qualified and eager to take up a difficult challenge, but I don't think she has a chance in hell of actually winning.

The best thing about this election for me is that I don't really have to vote in the primaries or the general, as Illinois' vote is already decided. And really, so is my district's congress seat.

Not that I think you will, but I learned yesterday that you can request a "Nonpartisan ballot" which only contains the local referendums if you don't care about the Dem/Rep elections.

Yes. But what kind? A hammer? A screwdriver? Maybe a saw of some kind? Am I a power tool? Cause that would be kinda cool! ;)

Honestly, I just don't get the hoopla over the early primary season. The media makes a big deal out of it, but that just makes me more convinced it's pure fluff. I just found it amusing that apparently a number of our posters take this *really* seriously. Superstition's about who wins which and what that means. Heck. Smash somehow affecting the fate of the world and all that (not like he doesn't have a big enough ego already folk!).

What next? We wait for a groundhog to come out and see if he looks at his shadow? Or maybe a black cat will cross our paths and we'll have to erase that by tossing salt over our left shoulders...

Ok, not having read a single post on this thread I will say this about Hillary's emotional outburst: Crocodile tears.

Now after zipping through this last page, why am I not surprised to read that Smash tripped over anyone in the Dem Party's bag? What's that? Ohhhhh, that bag. Ahhh.

I live in California Joph. Cal I Fornnnn Ya!

We don't take things that seriously. Not even sports. You don't see folks sitting in the bleachers in the freezing cold practically naked with body paint on here, now do you? Nope. Ok. It doesn't snow here, but if it did there likely wouldn't be anyone in that stadium, much less half naked people.

Really. For the most part, we hang out and chat and cheer and such and have a good time. But someone talking about jinxing, or lucky jerseys, or any such nonsense pretty much get laughed out of the Sports bar. Ok. They'll probably get invited to have some more drinks, as long as no one thinks they were really serious about it. See. Cause sometimes we like to have fun pretending that we take things seriously, mainly to make fun of those who actually do. It's a riot. Everyone laughs and has a good time too!

You honestly believe that I honestly believe that Smash is jinxing the election? You think I wouldn't have just offed him by now, were that the case?

I TOTALLY believe he's jinxing the election. Black arts practicing bastage. Sold your soul just to pull all this off didn't you! Well two can play at that game. I just need to find a voodoo doll with really stretchy skin.

People from California live in an alternate reality. Maybe if you guys took things a little more seriously, you wouldn't be facing a state budget collapse. Have fun making light of that.

Oh sure. I don't find baseball entertaining but still manage not to make an *** of myself by smugly declaring to people how unimportant it is when they get riled up about the season opener and trade jibes about how one another's team is gonna suck this year.
