Actually, I'm into it more due to my 20 years in DC than anything else.

Nexa, I would love to have an election cocktail with you, but only if you lose the jinx.

No offense, Smash, but I want to celebrate, not mourn.

How did we go from blaming menstruating women to blaming Smash?

Or are you telling me all this time Smash really has been one giant bleeding ******?

I'm reasonably certain I could get a gig on the Clinton staff if that would help.

Yeah, it's not like winning Iowa and NH means you're likely to win the nomination.

What? Everyone? Really?

Everyone except Bill Clinton, who lost to Paul Tsongas in 1992, that is. Oh, and George W Bush, who lost to John McCain in 2000.

So in terms of the eventual winner of the Presidency winning their primary, that puts us at 0-2 out of the last two times the winner wasn't a sitting president running for a second term.

In fact, the last time that we elected a non second-term president who also won his party's primary in New Hampshire was Ronald Reagan back in 1980.

But hey! 28 years ago it worked like a charm!

It would. Especially if you encourage her to wear pantsuits with no less than three buttons to elongate her frame.

You don't need to help him. He seriously mentions what she's wearing every damn time she's on television.

I think everyone here knows that this race doesn't seal anything. For that matter, I'd lay odds that most of the posters in this thread would willfully vote for either Democratic frontrunner if they win their party's ticket.

We're just watching the numbers, rooting for our guy and all that. So stop worrying about it, Gbaji.

This is a kind of interesting, if painfully lagged, map.

Manchester and Nashua went to Clinton, and due to the high populations, gave her her headstart. Hopefully he can take Durham, Hanover and other college towns to close the gap, and get the Independent vote.

So saith CNN.

Actually anyone who's won both Iowa and NH by any margin, has won the nomination.

Fir realz.

There's not enough votes left. He'd have to carry them 80/20.

Um... The part where you added extra conditions like Iowa and "likely"?

Gee. Smash. You're predicting that if someone wins both they are "likely" to win? Wow! You must be some kind of genius! Next you be claiming that if you eat food you're likely not to be hungry or something...

I was under the impression that the rest of the posters would very much like you to not keep stating your desire for Obama to win. Besides, there's much yummier stuff here at the kids table.

You know you wanna...

Added them to what?

You quoted my post and replied to it, wrongly, as usual. Really nothing to see here that you don't see here every day.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like either Dem will win this one by a sizable margin.
