Smash thinks he's too old and will become delusional and start bombing random countries and embarrass us all with incontinence and demands for Mexico to "get off our lawn", but I think he's pretty together for an old guy.

Let be clear, though. I'd take a drunken McCain with a lobotomy over any of the other GOP options.

You know, just on the off choice that our party base puts forth the only unelectable candidate he could beat.

So, you know, unlikely.

McCain's greatest strength and biggest issue is his rock-solid willpower. If he felt a doody poking cotton, he would force that sucker to retreat by sheer dogged determination.

I suspect that he would force it to clean itself up and get a job, dammit.

On another note:

WHY THE **** DO PEOPLE STILL PUT RALPH REED ON TV. He's like the Christian Right's **** Clark. He's got 15 years on me and looks like my kid brother. Also, clinically insane.

As an aside, given the proximity of "John McCain" and "John McClaine", why doesn't he just say "Yippe-Ky-Ay MotherfUcker" and close the deal?

(OK - He'd look Shit in a blood-stained vest, but it'd be worth a shot, right?)

Unpardonable foe"

He's actually going to go right into "Man of Lamancha" at the end.

I assumed it was caused by a Silver Star ricochet'ing off a river boat and digitally enhanced for Hilary's TV Ad campaign. . .

Better than "Return of the Mack", I suppose.

So I'm back up in the game
Running things to keep my swing
Letting all the people know

Johnny B. Good?

Hrm, the True John showed there for a while when he messed up his parting line and then got impatient when the crowd wouldn't let him say it to his taste.

Hey, anyone find out what that stupid pizza-box thing Anderson Cooper was holding up during Iowa was? It kept projecting a pie chart over his face, and it was ridiculous. I haven't seen him use it yet for NH.

I was going to post an anecdote, but discretion got the better of me.

Anyway, yes.

John Stewart clearly paid them for that fodder.

He's terrified of it.

OOOhhh. Hillary just dropped to 39% while Obama's up to 37%.

It's odd to find politics exciting again.

It's not the one you PM'd me "So there I was in Walmart wearing nothing but my speedos and a smile. . ." is it?

I love that story

I apparently missed this, but am always happy to hear more about Anderson Cooper.

I am drawn to him.
