Knight Rider... The Movie?Follow

#1 May 11 2006 at 6:47 AM Rating: Decent
Does everyone remeber the 80's TV series Knight Rider.. the one with the pre-Baywatch David Hasselfoff? For those of you that don't know.. they are actually making a movie out of that 2 decade old TV show about a talking.. what was it.. Pontiac? I'm all for classic TV series being made into movies if the premise will still apply to the masses... but am I the only one who thinks a flick like this is a bad idea?

As of now, Hasselhoff is not involved in the picture.... why don't they turn A-Team into a movie instead?.. modernized.

My dreams are frequently haunted by visions of Mr. Feeney from Boy Meets World yelling "Michael! I can't do that Michael! I've already used my super-jump rockets once this episode!"

Who didn't?

I remember the 2 hour made for TV movie they did like 5 or 6 years after the series was done. It was pretty bad. Seeing episodes of that show now makes me cringe. It was great as a kid though. And that mechanic chick on it was pretty hot.

I always wanted that car, too. But even more than that I wanted the Mach 5 from Speed Racer.

i predict it will flop so bad not even a reputable dvd company will pick it up after it leaves the thrater in less than a week.

i have a better idea, give me the money and ill make a movie about my cat. it will be more entertaining and probably have higher box office reciepts and will only cost about 2 dollars to make.

SR, do you know how to post something without any negative intent? I picture you as this long drawn out faced man grumbling at the world because everyone is out to get you. Try a happy post once or twice. Im not positive, but I dont think it will kill you
