Just picked up this new CD. I was wondering if anyone else here did or if anyone is a Red Hot Chili Peppers fan. I like most of the songs on it, especially Flea's bass parts. Also, John Frusciante seems to be showing off a little more on his solos (finally). Any opinions?

heh, seriously though, I think I liked maybe one or two RHCP songs when they first became big, but they overplayed them so much that they completely ruined the band for me. /shrug

Got the CD yesterday and love it, personally think its better than Californication. So far prefer listening to Jupiter CD but it seems a lot more chilled out. Kind of like the Foo's last album.

I can't seem to tear myself away from the new albums by Tool and Pearl Jam, but I'll probably pick this one up as well. I've been anxious to hear if it's any good.

It's actually a pretty good album. I was really disappointed with By The Way. So far though, Stadium Arcadium definitly sounds a lot better than By The Way. The single, Dani California, is one of my favourite songs right now.

I'm rocking out to the new Tool as I type. It's not bad.

I've given up on the Chili Peppers. They've gone the way of the suck in my opinion. Everything up to BSSM was golden, BSSM was pretty good, then a descent into ****.

My 2 gil.

Big fan here, watching them July 15th in Earls Court i can't wait.

The new album had me finger tapping first play which is a good sign, 21st Centuary is my fave track so far.

Ohhh I got my copy yesterday and I got to say I was quite dubious about it being on 2 cd's, I don't know why.

I haven't listened to it yet though but pleased to hear that people like it, I will give it a listen today.

Not going to get to see them on tour in the summer as I won't be here but I did get to see them the summer before at Hyde Park with James Brown which was fu[black][/black]cking immense.

I actually really liked By the Way. I haven't picked up this one yet, but probably next paycheck. I, too, am still enjoying the new Tool and PJ albums.

I'm still deciding whether to get this cd or not. I kind of prefer RHCP's earlier songs. Plus they are constantly playing their songs on the radio where I am at the moment. It's actually kind of getting a bit annoying.
