Oh no! The brown tide is upon us!
The AP, by way of CNN, wrote:
More than 30 percent of the increase in the U.S. population last year was Hispanics born as American citizens, according to the Census Bureau, just one indicator that the influence of traditional minorities will continue to grow.

Bureau statistics released Tuesday show the U.S. population grew by 2.8 million between July 1, 2004, and July 1, 2005. Hispanics accounted for 1.3 million of that increase, with 800,000 attributable to natural causes -- births minus deaths -- rather than immigration.

Coupled with the high birth rate for Hispanics -- the Population Resource Center cites statistics showing the average Hispanic woman will have three children in her lifetime; it's 1.8 for non-Hispanic whites -- the number means Hispanics will make up an increasing share of the citizenry.
[...]
Smiley: schooled 45 percent of children under age 5 are from a racial or ethnic minority.

Smiley: schooled About a third of Hispanics were younger than 18, compared with a fourth of the population in general.

Smiley: schooled The median age for Hispanics -- the point at which half are older and half are younger -- was 27.2 years in 2005. It was 30.0 years for blacks and 40.3 years for white non-Hispanics.
Now is the time to load up on tortilla and avacado futures.

Yes, CNN really used the little professor guy to make its bullet points. No, really.

So, does that mean Taco Bell will soon become one of those fancy shmancy restaurants that require formal attire, waiters, and $20 burritos no bigger than a vienna sausage?

Steel futures.

Ever lift those mango juice cans? You can do some serious damage throwing one at a person, even if it's empty.

I dunno. White poeople are, in general, jerks. Hispanics are usually more my kind of people. Pls, this way I can spend my declining years eating refried beans and drinking Tequila.

I hope these arent your real ideas. I go to a small school, a really small private school more like it. I have four close friends there, but one of them went to a boarding school a few weeks ago. I am a white guy, but my friend are an Indian, not the native feather kind, but the dot dot kind, an African-American, he was born in Guyana, a South American country, a 3/4 white guy who is 1/4 black, and an asian with blonde hair, who also plays WOW, because I introduced him to it. We always hang out together, go to the same restuarants together, and we hang out with our school groundskeeper, a filipino guy, a lot. I almost never notice that I am the only white guy in the group, but I don't care, cause these guys are my close friends. I have another friend, half-canadian, half-vietnamese, who is really my best friend, but doesn't go to my school. We have things we like that are similar, and we don't ever talk about our races or origins, unless we are joking around or making up stupid racial stereotypes, which we do for fun. I hate how people fit each other into groups and not individuals. It is not right. You might not agree with me, but if you don't, then **** you. I am also from Northern California, in the San Francisco bay area, which is the most developed and most expensive place to live in the world. Read the statistics, its true. What I am saying is, Northern California should be a role model for other places. As for the minority growth factor, I heard blacks are a large growing group too, so I am investing in KFC, which is what I told my black friend. I shouldnt even say my "black friend", i should just say friend. If you flame this, get a life, and don't tell me to get one because I am only fifteen and still planning, thats right, planning.

actually it had nothing to do with him. I got a statement from a credit card that was closed 3 years ago with charges on it that I had not made. I had called and was working with the company to get an investigation going on it along with ridding the charges when I was disconnected. When I called back I had some guy giving me a hard time and refused to transfer me to the people I had originally been speaking with. We got into a, how shall I put this, verbal altercation?
