I have a slight hangover today.

Damn you red wine.

I am without a vehicle, and in the middle of the woods.

I'm making tea, but I'm not happy about it.

He's at work, but coming home early so that we can take the baby to the doctors. She woke up coughing so hard in the night that she threw up twice. I think it's just post-nasal drip from hay fever, but it was super-upsetting. Anyway, I'm sure she'll be fine, but I just don't like giving her benedryl constantly.

Sleep is what people without babies get to have. Pain in the *** or not, she's still too cute to drown in a septic tank (three threads in one, what do I win?!).

I have coffee now, the crisis has ended.

This has been a public service announcement.

I not only have a need for coffee, I have a deep need for half-and-half to go into said coffee. Milk just won't do. Not too long ago, I was half asleep in bed at around 2am when it suddenly occured to me that I had run out of half-and-half the previous morning. I got out of bed, got dressed, and went all bleary eyed to Wal-Mart. I am not sure what would occur if I couldn't have my morning coffee. I had oral surgery about 3 weeks ago and was told not to eat or drink before, and had coffee anyway. Coffee=life force.
