posts remaining until I can join the 10K club. Think we can make it by quitting time? If not, it will have to wait until next week and the trend will be over by then. Smiley: frown I have carpet to pull up tonight, then tomorrow I have a funeral to go to which is followed by a day of laying flooring. The next day will be finishing flooring and paint. I won't be able to post ***** for at LEAST 3 days, *tear* Woe is me.

I misread the title as 227, and now must live with my disappointment.

Pfft post with flooring updates. You know when its all up, when you lay the padding and whack your finger with a tack hammer.

It will be riveting!

I've already stabbed myself 4 times last night (in the fingers) lifting the tackles strips after removing the carpet. Damn those stupid little pokey nails.

I hope I don't get lock-jaw. Gloves are for pu[Beige][/Beige]ssies.

I finished removing the last square foot of carpet from my house a few weeks ago. You get pretty good at it after a while.

Get yourself a Wonder pry bar...it makes the tack strips so easy to remove.

Crowbars work wonders for removing those bastards. I feel your pain though. I had to strip an entire house of lenolium (sp) flooring. It was a ***** to say the least.
