Pearl Jam is probably my favorite band, but I haven't really been impressed by their last few albums. They just seem old and devoid of energy, and Eddie's voice ain't what it used to be.

After "Last Kiss" Pearl Jam are dead to me now.

i have it! it's awesome!

oh.. riot act was kinda "bored" and all.. but this album is really cool.. looks old school! not that old grunge they used to do, but much more elaborated :x and is defenatly much more grunge then the past few albums.. I love it!

I wasn't that impressed with the last 2 PJ albums, but I've heard a lot of really good buzz about this one, so I'll be getting it at lunch today. I'm also planning on picking up the new Tool album, I heard one of the tracks off it on a radio station site and it was really good.

Alice in Chains with Maynard? That sounds like a good show.

Sh[red][/red]it yes it does. I don't even know who the new AiC singer is but it doesn't really matter, I'd love to see that show.

Anyway, I just got back from Best Buy on my lunch hour and picked up the new Tool album for 10 bucks (SCORE!) and I must say it does not disappoint.

I saw this thread when I got to work today and would not have remembered about the new tool CD today if you hadn't reminded me. I just got back from picking it up on my lunch break as well. Thanks for the reminder!

Layne Staley. He died on april 2002 or so :P

Anyway, already got my 10000 days copy too ^^ I think the PearlJam's Self-Titled is better.. but that's just me.. :S PearlJam is my favorite band ever.. so.... <.<

I'm tired of always hearing the "SAME" background sound on tool songs <.< i still loved this album and tool is on my all time top 5 though xP
