Nothing like some good ol' Fonz to enlighten the soul. Between that, and the abnormally sadistic side displayed by Bryan, it it was a bit of a different episode. Good, though.

Next episode promises some girl-kissing-girl action. And some of the girls are minors!

Capitalization is something that you can learn and then never forget. Spelling is a case-by-case deal.. I'd like to say my English is perfekt, butt since Webster's just selebraited its one-billionth werd, it's sumtimes hardon to keep up with all of da spelingz. 'sides, its easier to be analytical than analog. ;)

crap.... you're fUcked.

On a somewhat related tangent (Family Guy made me think of it), I just realized today how entirely screwed up my generation is going to be.

There was a guy in my spanish class who was talking about different religions. He was saying how Mormans have the most screwed up religion of anyone. Now, I can understand him saying that, I mean, Mormans might not be the most screwed up in my opinion, but I can see how someone could think that. That is, until I heard his reasoning. He watched a South Park episode about it. WTF? My generation is getting their religious views from SOUTH PARK?

And the sad thing is, this came from a guy that is pretty smart. He gets good grades, is in a higher math class than me, he's not just some stoner who gets straight F's.

On a separate note, (and not meant to be a personal attack on the OP), since when has being 13 years old been a legitimate excuse for not knowing how to spell properly?

As far as I can remember, I had a pretty good grasp of the damned language by that stage of my life...

My hubby and I watch "Family Guy" and enjoy it a lot. The one problem I have with the show is that they don't seem to know when to end a gag. They drag it out and out and out until it's lost the funny.

Apparently no one ever told Seth MacFarlane that brevity is the soul of wit, but there's a lot of times when the cut-aways and non-sequiturs would be much more amusing if they didn't last so long. Get in, make the funny, and get out.

Dragging them out as long as the show does, it's like being clubbed over the head repeatedly. "It's funny, did'ya get it?" BONK! "did'ya get it?" BONK! "get it?" BONK!

Since when did you need an excuse to not know how to spell properly?

That's the whole point.

Take for example, the Willy Wonka episode, where Peter falls and skinned his knee. They could've just played the yell, and loud inhale once, but instead they do it over and over. It may seem like they don't understand teh funnies, but really they do.

That works, but only if you only use that technique sparingly. It also helps if the punch line can't be predicted from the very beginning of the joke.

An example that I hated was when Stewie is watching the 'Bewitched' movie, and Will Ferrel makes that somewhat lame, but fairly innocuous "I have a secret too. I'm a clippers fan." joke. Then segway to two minutes worth of scenes where Stewie is traveling to Will Ferrel's house. As it was happening, my friend said out loud "If this ends with him just punching Will Ferrel in the face, it's gonna be really stupid."

Which it did, and it was.
